I actually thought the opposite.. I think he is one of the most non-toxic SMLs.. Atleast for part 1, and I don’t see that is changing in part 2. It may be harder to let go this time seeing Naksu in her actual physical features, but I think he would still choose do the right thing in the end.. He may be waver at first but, can you blame him? He already gave way once..

I think her having blue eyes in part 1 was a sign that her soul is in a different body.. As opposed to normal soul shifting, blue mark is on the upper chest.. However, in her case as per Master Lee, it was not AOS but rather her soul was locked and since the original owner of the body was blind, her mark was in the eyes.. And since her soul took over the body now, meaning she’s the owner of the body now, it is less likely that we will see her with blue eyes again unless they put some twists again in the end..

They added the name JBY so I guess she would continue to live as JBY for a long time if not for good.. I really wish they clear up the incident 3 yrs ago. I want her and Cho yeon to have a good relationship as sisters..

I have a question.. not sure if I just missed it being mentioned in the drama.. How do they decide who would take on the dominant family during marriage? Like whose last name should they follow? Looks they are not following the traditional way where they would use the man’s last name.. The way I see it, it’s like the more powerful family will take the lead.. For example, Jins family, they are using the Jin last name and they reside in Jinyowon.. Even Dangu and Jang Uk before were mentioned as being married to Jinyowon.. But now, with Jang Uk, it’s like Cho Yoeng will live at the Jang’s residence.. Is it because he is stong now or, is it by choice?

the body was petrified and yes was still alive but that is because Naksu’s soul and energy was still there. So technically, the body was not alive if we think of the simple definition of being alive (like breathing, heart beating, etc.) but alive because there is still a soil inside it. It’s like she’s refusing to die..

That’s how I interpret it as well but then again he didn’t say that will cause her to petrify but rather asked Ho kyeong if she would be ok with that.. If buyeon’s body regains its divine powers, Naksu’s memory will follow.. I’m assuming Naksu’s soul and BY’s body are now considered as one so even if she regains her memory, she will not run wild but rather would become more powerful.. At least, that is what I hope 😊

Idk if they will have more explanation on as to why Bu Yeon intercepted Naksu’s soul shifting but if we analyze Master Lee’s explanation in ep2, he said Bu yeon’s soul was only clinging onto Naksu’s energy.. Not sure if that was only at that moment at the brink of their death or it has been like that all along.. She probably needed a great energy to hold on and sense Naksu during her AOS attempt and trapped her instead so she can hold on to her energy.. But because of this, Naksu was unable to use her energy and it was what eventually has saved her from running wild.. Or, perhaps we will know when Jang Uk recognizes her since he can now see through the AOS..

The one who was alive though was Naksu’s soulc not Buyeon’s body..

I think I understand those who are criticizing GYJ’s acting.. She definitely has some room for improvement but she’s not bad.. I still like her and that does not affect the show IMO.. I still enjoy watching it..

Any element that feeds off energy.. I thought it has the same vibe with the drama Korean Odyssey then I remember they are from the same writers

Based on master Lee’s explanation, she may need by considered anymore as her soul being in that body was not a result of alchemy of soul but rather her soul was trapped.. although she indeed tried to switch souls.. At this point, we can say that Naksu’s soul and Bu yeon’s body became one so there won’t be anymore conflict for her to run wild.. However, he also said that if the body regains it’s divine power, Naksu’s power will follow.. Not sure if this would mean that she may still run wild or she will become more powerful as she now has the body of a great priestess..

He has not moved on.. For now he married her because he needs her.. But there’s obviously an attrAction and he may fall inlove first before realizing she’s actually Naksu

Exactly my thought. If there’s someone who should recognize Naksu apart from Park Jin and Jin Mu, it should be Yul. I understand that he only saw adult Naksu once and she was already dead, but how could you forget you’re first love’s face.. I wonder if that bloodworm is affecting his eye sight or disturbing his senses..

wow.. ‘love it.. I have not watched it as I am planning to watch ep1 and 2 continuously but I think this was beautifully done rather then bringing the actual dead body back.. I am happy although I feel bad for Bu yeon.. I wish they had given her more justice and also they explain why she intercepted Naksu’s soul shifting and trapped her soul into her body although we can tell from the viewer’s POV this actually saved Naksu eventually..

I have not watched part 2 yet since i am waiting for ep2 but seeing how he looks at her in the eyes in the teasers, he must feeling something he could not explain but is probably trying to shake it off because he’s still thinking about Naksu not knowing that she’s actually the person in front of him..

And the chicken.. I think that’s the biggest giveaway 😂. Naksu loves chicken

Remember on ep 18 if Im not mistaken, she mentioned to Naksu/Mudeok that the ice stone doesn’t have any specific form.. With this we can conclude that the ice stone can even take the form of human.. Besides, the relics in the Jinyowon even referred to her as the ice stone.. And why did they show young BY and adult BY? This could be their representation that one is actually BY and the other one is the ice stone..

I have thought about that but it’s the timeline in the beginning that’s kind of messing up this theory..
