I feel you. I don’t like that idea either. If Jang Uk loves Naksu/CY, then let Naksu’s soul solely be in that body.. But I’m afraid they are actually presenting BY as the ice stone and not as a person and she would reunite with her family through CY.. :(

I know.. I get you, that is indeed weird 😅. It may not be that weird if you think BY as the ice stone instead of a person but ofc it will be hard to process when we’ve all seen her as a person..

Ok so, I saw an interesting theory on youtube.. I know I shld just sit and wait but I can’t help it 🤣🤣
So apparently CY/Naksu and BY will still be one body but this time CY’s body.. CY still has the blue eyes confirming she’s still the soul shifter Naksu. It appears that they are now merged into one soul. Note that BY was resurrected using the ice hence she can be considered the ice stone or at least part of the ice stone and she may have just been using BY ‘s body as a vessel all along.. Now that BY’s body is dead, she will in CY’s body and with CY’s soul. This could be the reason why CY will be regarded as a priestess and also at the same time connected to Uk because technically, they both have the ice stone inside them. From this, we can tell that BY’s real goal is to find the other piece of the ice stone and maybe get rid of it..

Yes. I know I was surprised too.. But given this is a fantasy drama, they are more likely immortals.. maybe?

I originally thought Yul saved her body but that no longer seemed to be the case. I read one comment somewhere and it says they actually didn’t revive Naksu’s real body but rather created/found a body that looks like her (how? I don’t know lol) and they shifted either Naksu or Buyeon’s soul or both.. But seeing how there’s lots of paralleling stuff going on, I wouldn’t be surprised if they make it two souls still in one body but this time it would be Bu Yeon’s that’s dominant.. But given how smart Jang Uk is, he would more likely realize that Naksu is also residing in that body and will more likely do everything to take her out.. Just thought that may be the case since there’s one scene in teasers where he was holding her hand the way he was holding Mudeok’s hand in the last part of part 1 as if he was trying to force her to remember..

“They won’t be able to recognize each other” honestly this line from mama Jin is the only thing I’m holding on that she’s still Naksu/Cho Yeong.. These teasers and trailers haunt me to the core 🤣🤣🤣

I just hope they don’t make it Bu Yeon who’s inside Naksu’s body or 2 souls and she being the dominant soul.. Looks like most scenarios in S2 are opposites of S1 so I won’t be surprised if they do that.. I have nothing against Buyeon, she’s a great character but it would lose all sense if they make her soul take over this time when we know all along it was Naksu who Jang Uk fell inlove with.. I really do hope they clear up the connection between Naksu and Bu Yeon..

I also thought the age gap was a plot hole. In the previous character profiles the production had released, jang uk, yul, dangu, bu yeon and naksu were all 20 yrs old. But in the drama sequence, it was as if naksu is at least 3-5 yrs older than jang uk.. bu yeon is older too… but then again, note that when Jang uk was born the story jumped to 20yrs after and next scene was naksu and park jin’s fight suggesting Naksu was 20 yrs old then.. But who cares about the age gap now.. it is not the first time ive seen this on dramas not just kdramas.
