People being so pissed off not only because of the American spin-off probability, but inserting the scene itself has already ruined the mood of the show. It's a Japanese show in the first place, we don't need to see some black and white men as cameos in the end with that American "Alice" nametag. Just as you said, it's a shared place, borderline happens worldwide, so they don't need to make a loud point and insert only Americans.
