I thought I was the only one thinking this drama lacked a lot. the romance is slow and tbh I personally didn’t really feel the chemistry between them. the case holds so many holes. it’s literally just we prosecutors make the law and decide how it’s done, even with evidence showing he wasn’t there or even the murderer they still kept going after him. they absolutely lacked in showcasing se-na her lawyer skills as she’s supposed to be a really good lawyer who made partner early. half the time she can’t even answer when being put on the spot, first with laik finding out she was a fan, then with the reporters asking her if they lived together. she just stood there like a fish out of water, which is not how a super good lawyer is supposed to be during these type of situations. I also expected a bit more law in this drama as it’s literally one of its main plots, a lawyer defending a idol charged with murder. I think many of us can agree with your review!

you should watch the donghua which explains everything a bit better then this drama. Wu managed to survive bec her soul was given to tang san and bec of the lovesick herb which protected her in a way which she can be revived. to be fair tang san did not lose to a bunch of nobodies, he was surrounded by ppl of equal level. liu na has the same domain and is around the same level same W the others. if you're surrounded by a whole bunch of ppl around the same level I'd like to see how you would survive? tang san isn't op he needs to grow and go through a lot of struggles in order to get stronger. he had already used up a lot of his soul power (it's not infinite) and he was already injured from previous fights. he does have limits to what powers he can get. he just got Wu her abilities, her soul bone and her soul ring. his hao tian hammer is strong for sure but he hadn't really mastered it yet bec he's focusing on his blue emperor. there are still many things he needs to learn before he's fully mastered his hammer. he won't do so until he has all 9 soul rings for his blue emperor. I hope this helps you better understand the plot.

I've never seen the anime but I want to watch this drama so badly, but seeing as it takes of where douluo continent ended idk if I should watch that before I get started on the land of warriors? It looks interesting. I know many people didn't like DC and said it was rather bad so yeahh
