HI, everyone, there are many viewers who think DOTS is an overrated drama (but still they don’t stop watching,…
Totally agree! And may I add, another reason for all this hype is the unique storyline involving military which is a first in Korean dramas. It really is a scapegoat for ppl who want to escape their boring and tiring lives. And not to mention how the writer planned the script. Ppl in the Korean army/military use a rigid/strict way of speaking which quickly attracted the audience in Korea. It is cool, appealing, and funny at times which I'm sure non-Koreans wouldn't really understand and maybe that's why it's so popular in Korea.
On episode 10 and I still don't get what the main plot is but I'm in love with it anyhow
The writer did a great job with the characters and their lines
It just makes you all tingly inside :S hehe
I just wish Daniel and Yehwa had more screen time... they had none in ep 10 :(
The feeeeeels is too much...
Oh gawd can't sleep tonight....
Young King Sejong's appearance was much appreciated :)
Especially bc his actor was LBW child actor, made it even better!
The bit about him taking after all the ppl LBW missed was just so damn sad
And the part where Boonyi says now JDJ can rest in peace due to the invention of the Korean characters (bc JDJ wanted a common writing system for everyone to be able to learn and use)
And finally, Boonyi and LBW not being able to be together makes it so aryunhae/feelyfeely/sad inside ughhh :'(
I really believe this drama deserves a high score bc it brings up some historical insight despite the fictional aspects mixed into it, the sword fighting scenes were just awesome, the music was downright perfect and fit greatly with all the scenes, and the acting was amazing, the lines delivered with so much passion and feeling ♥
Will def. watch this again hehe
I love how this drama doesn't have love triangle/square/pentagon/etc. and instead offers different couples for me to obsess over
My favorite: Jingoo&Jiwon couple :S
Also, I find Yehwa and Daniel couple really cute and look forward to their scenes but they don't get much screen time together :(
Since I made the mistake to read the historical background several weeks ago, I knew he was going to kill Sambong…
I agree.. there is no righteous killing.. so many innocent lives lost :(
I cannot defend Sambong either bc he would have tried to kill BW if he wasn't killed first
Oh and also I think you wrote King "S"ejong with a "J" by mistake
We now know lee bang won was manic killer in Tree with deep roots. he knows his enemy and meticulous in wiping…
Sejong was a bad king? He has the title "the Great" for a reason and not to mention his many accomplishments in literature, education, science, maintaining good relationships with other countries, and of course inventing the Korean alphabet. Not only was he a good king but a kind ruler who cared for his people. Also the period of his rule was known as the Golden Age so I don't get where you got the idea of him being a bad king or a coward. You don't know what you're talking about, I suggest doing more research on King Sejong
YeongGyu :'(
Rest in peace
You were the best scene stealer
We'll always remember your wide-smiling grins, your humor and your loyalty
Gahhh i read the article about his death on naver which made me put off watching ep 45 until now.. still can't take it in
To be honest, I think this season was much better than the first one (I guess I am the only one who thinks that…
for me, I like 1994 better and I'm actually rewatching it again from the beginning
the different Korean dialects were well portrayed and this season was hilarious; I remember having a few laughs
But maybe that's because I'm Korean so i'm able to relate to it
I loved all the characters and I couldn't choose which male lead I liked better cus they were both so awesome lol
I guess it got better after ep 5~6ish when NJ realizes her feelings for SRG and when the official love triangle started
Also you might not like it because you already know who the husband is and one the fun in watching this season was guessing who the husband was as many viewers like me were conflicting on who to support
I agree that it is somewhat slow but I thought 1997 was draggier and I forced myself to finish it as I skipped some of the scenes

She seems so rigid, proper and uptight in the webtoon but in the drama she's so adorbsss
I nearly strangled myself trying to finish episode 1, hoping ep 2 is better

Each episode gets better and better than the one before it
