yes i get your point. but my perspective had got to do nothing with complexity. i mean, the scenario i mentioned regarding win, would only be more accurate if the guy is more open to his feelings , less complex, more jolly and happy.
if i make a short summary, i dunno how much win is showing his true personality in the interviews but the character he portrays, is exactly like that of a boy i dated once. first you start the relation as a joke. ( not a fake relationship. but not too deep in. more of like, "woah you're single? me too ! let's date).
then you try to keep it less serious. always joking about how you both are dating for fun and would never get serious. but then after a point of time you both get serious without having any official statement regarding it ( ps communication about everything in a relationship is very necessary). then you unnecessarily start getting jealous over everything, and annoyed. have unnecessary fights. and go through your first break up. its nasty. nasty as hell. way worse and ignorant than what's written in romantic novels. then out of rage, rainbow of emotions you patch up rightway ( maybe fucking up some other people in the process) this time the relationship may have absolute mutual love. but it will lack trust. then break up again, then patch up etc cycle going on. don't wanna make this para even more longer than it already is.
