more of the reason she's not suited to the job - she gets burnout eventually. you can't serve from an empty vessel. all her kindness and effort won't make up for anything.
i find it highly unrealistic how FL is clearly incapable of handling mental health patients and still given lots and lots of tolerance by her co-workers after her many mishaps. she endangers her patients by her judgement and her treatment. she might not realize it as she's a patient herself but her co-workers just seem to be too sympathetic of her and not focusing on their patients or educating her, walking on eggshells around her. if she can't handle being mental ward nurse, she should've just left. it doesn't necessarily mean she's weak, she just doesn't suit the job as she can only endanger herself and her surroundings. being kind verbally doesn't always solve everything, yk?
the plot idea seemed interesting to me until the writing is messy and the drama becomes so boring. they seemed to conveniently forget the fantasy element and focused on the romance, but it doesn't work for me.. the characters don't have chemistry, i love rowoon but i just don't find myself wanting to root for uninteresting ml & fl. destiny or whatsoever, i still can't find him cheating on his insufferable gf 'cute'. the way he handled falling in love with fl and failing to end it on numeral occasions with his gf is just icky; i find ml super wishy-washy with both women instead. he has no power over his father to stand up for what he wants at all, getting married even he knows damn well it's not what he wants. he was probably just weighing whether fl is worthy enough to replace gf & his mayor father's status, lol. maybe it's personal, but if i were nayeon i don't personally see myself wanting to be married to such person. then again, nayeon is insufferable; if she was respectful to herself she wouldn't keep holding on to a relationship that never has a spark
at ep.14 it's funny how the vice prosecutor chief was being sexist to FL but he was not wrong, lol. and it's tons funnier how her 'clapback' is just her strong memories.. which is the only thing aside from her passion that could save her and her job lol. FL at times always made irrational judgement, carried by emotions and her tendency to write scripts rather than to find truth. warm character doesn't mean being annoyingly dumb. i was questioning how this FL became #1st at her class. her sharp memory is her savior, other than that she's just... dumb. her character is poorly written after kang hyun's character. if you want to show smart characters don't show she's smart by people's comments and all, show by her attitude, judgement, decisions etc
