Could we please stop accusing anyone who voices a negative opinion of being a toxic ON fan? I’m 23 years old, and between my studies and life, I barely have time to get caught up in shipping CPs or petty drama. When I take a break to watch a show, I expect it to be genuinely good, and I’m critical about what I watch. I won’t settle for something that feels like it’s been made with minimal effort.

Many people have already pointed out the flaws in this show with logical and thoughtful critiques, without even mentioning CPs. And when I or others bring up that other GMMTV shows have had similar issues, it’s because we’re noticing a trend of childish, low-effort productions. It’s almost 2025, and I still haven’t found a single standout show from GMMTV this year. In previous years, I’d always find at least two shows that I loved.

Honestly, it’s really embarrassing to see smaller companies producing high-quality shows, while the most capable company, GMMTV, isn’t living up to its potential. They could be creating hits, but they’re not. So, the point of this is: please, let’s be more critical and honest in how we voice our opinions. Just because your favorite actor is in a show doesn’t mean it deserves a high rating. At this rate, GMMTV will keep taking the cheap route, milking their popular actors instead of focusing on quality. And yes, at the end of the day, it’s a matter of taste, but I can’t believe that all the hype is just about taste—it’s clearly about your faves.

other companies are making a much better quality BLs in terms of story and production. u got Century of love and 4 min this year so far and the sign , laws of attraction last year. everyone knows in terms capability gmmtv is the most capable to make a hit. still they chose not to. isn't that kind of funny ?? especially when they proved before that they can do it since they relased Not Me, which broke all the expectations and is still at the top of BLs. i know it's a matter of taste but this big drop in quality is just ...... too big to not notice...

yes that's what i'm trying to say "they got lazy". they realized as long as they cast the ppls' favs in anything ppl would watch it and go crazy about it. honestly has i been in their place i would've done the exact same thing. as long as ppl like it why try harder ??
see ? the fault doesn't lie on gmmtv but the fans for hyping everything they give.
had the fans been more critical we would've seen the best BL quality of all time.

this kind of comments makes me wonder if i'm the only one who's dissatisfied after witnessing the huge shift in story quality gmmtv did recently. they had true gems before and worked on it much better. i don't see that now in any of the ones they released recently. A tale of thousand star, not me, never let me go, theory of love, moonlight chicken, cupid's last wish ...etc they were too good to be true...

You guys keep hyping GMMTV to sell quantity with no quality. All the recent BL’s they’ve produced are a big disappointment in the BL industry. Where did their good old stories go ??? Now they throw a random idea with minimum effort and throw it at ppl. Y’all hype the show as long as your favs are in it. At this rate you’re satisfied with whatever is being thrown at you as long as your fav in it. The production and acting quality has dropped so bad. I bet has it been a mini company producing exactly the same thing you’d never have cared and gave it the most awful rate. Min is lost between simping over Q and kidnapping him. In a moment he’s smiling at Q and the other he’s being a try hard serious. And ofc let’s not forget the classic “playing an instrument scene” and “oh let’s romanticize every scene between the characters even if it was out of context to let audience flutter 👁️👄👁️" that are very exclusive to every gmmtv show. Oh let’s not forget We Are that was released recently I can’t believe it got above 8 in rating. I don’t think I need to talk about that show bc it was horrible in every way possible I bet u know exactly what I mean. I know try hard fans would come at me and say “if u don’t like it then don’t watch” I’m not watching it honey I gave it a try and I’ll drop it for good. I’m just utterly disappointed with the hype you’re giving gmmtv at this rate they would only produce shows that are fit for baby girls who’s just exploring what BL is. And plz I’m not implying that I want NC scenes bc it’s the last thing I ever care about. I’m talking in terms of production, story and acting !!!

It’s definitely not when as u said it could end in an alt timeline or in someone’s own fantasy bc we still know the truth just how like we know that the life great lived in first episodes was all fake …..

That is definitely not happy to me and it’d be too weird for ppl to actually find it to be “a happy ending”. A character that chose to keep being stuck in its illusion to keep living a happy life with the other is …… idk what else to say but if that’s how it’d end like I’m gonna cry buckets its completely tragic to me.

i'm not following the recent interviews whatsoever but before the premiere of 4 min bible said that the ending of "Spaceless" (the short movie he and jes did together) has a happier ending than 4 min. ( in spaceless one of them dies) so.......

i know exactly how this will end. tyme would experience what great exactly experienced. he would fix the stuff he has regrets over and when he runs out of "minutes of chances" he'd be hit back to reality where he's actually dead or somehow miraculously lives. and since both actors confirmed it'd be a sad ending. then both would die....

but agian what lukwa said about "my boyfriend's voice brought me back to reality bc had i been stuck there i would've already been dead"

i hope it'd be something like this but i don't think it'd be happy. someone of these two would definitely die or both of them...

ugh my heart is broken already...

I started watching out of curiosity, never expecting it would make me cry. The last scene, when he revealed that he named his daughter after him, brought tears to my eyes. It resonated deeply, especially since I recently parted ways with someone who loved me for five long years. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we couldn't be together. He promised that if he ever had a daughter, he'd name her after me.😞
