Japanese doramas tends to have more of this. I could list down a lot that I have seen but there are lots more that I have not seen yet...

So to name a few...

For doramas:
Beautiful Life, The Grand Tribe and A Sleeping Forest of Takuya Kimura. Yes, A Million Stars Falling from the Sky can be included but I am not a fan of the genre.

For movies:
100th Love with You, Tomorrow I will date yesterday's you

I've seen a few Power Rangers, dubbed in our local language when I was younger and it was a fun watch but I didn't really got into it.

With Kamen Rider I have seen Drive and Den-O just because. Maybe I should I try to watch at least one from your reco. If they are as long (ep wise) and as short (runtime wise) I MAY be able to but if it is longer I may have retention issues. Haha!

I should watch Tokusatsu
Soon-ish! Lol!

Hello, I fell In love with j doramas 3 years ago. But I am a bit frustrated with how it does not get the attention…
Wow! I'd suggest you join D-Addicts (if you haven't yet!). It's a community composed of subbers and watchers. That's where I "met" all these wonderful subber.

My first dorama was prolly Gokusen or Hana Yori Dango as they were aired on local TV, dubbed in our native language, but I never really got into it as Meteor Garden was aired almost at the same time (if I remember right) and that caught my attention more. Though I did love Yankumi. I also saw Zettai Kareshi even before falling into the pit of Doramas and Eigas. I am a completionist, since I saw the anime, I HAD to read the manga and watch the Drama. I was that kind of completionist back then, it had changed a bit now.

Then come 2016, I was roaming around Viki, and there I saw Hero. I was smitten by Takuya Kimura, and the rest they say is History. I found he was a Member of SMAP (it was January 2017 and they have already disbanded that time, T_T Imagine my heart break?) but still I watched a lot of SMAPxSMAP. I saw almost all (around 52) movies and dramas of Takuya, also listened to SMAP songs, watched a few shows of Shingo as he is my Niban in SMAP.

Now I have branched out a bit, I saw a lot more dramas and movies with JA idols as a part of it, but other than that, now I only watch Doramas and Eiga in general and follow other artist aside from idols. Unless I had to, like for Watch Challenge, I never watched from other countries. lol.
