Seriously, am I the only one who could not finish the first episode? The writing felt confusing, I couldn't grasp the theme of the show and that rarely happens to me. The characters were all unlikable, unrelatable and hard to remember. And it was even worse when they added adult scenes that were not only unnecessary, but somehow also really disturbing, in a sick way. There are more reasons I didn't enjoy it but I can't even remember them anymore cause this episode was so... disposable. But then I come here and see the rating. Can somebody please tell me, does it get better? Is the plot actually going somewhere? Does it get better at portraying its characters? What did you actually like about it?
The scene was very sensual and very well done. I wished those two got together, actually.
I'm glad I'm not the only one! Their chemistry was too good. I wanted them to end up together ever since watching ep 2, but kinda knew it's not gonna happen, sadly.
I think it's because of expectations when people saw the casts. Personally, when I saw the detective genre, I…
Personally, I prefer this drama over the thing we usually get when we see "detective genre", at least in J-dramas: each episode has a different case that isn't connected to the next, "someone was murdered and now let's see who is the murderer among some uninteresting, randomal people by questioning them" kind of plot, with the same routine all over again, no side plot nor interesting backstory for the characters. There are too many dramas like this, and I'm happy to get something different for once. But again, this is only my personal opinion :)
It seems like I'm the only one who doesn't find the sisters' toxic relationship funny at all. I've already watched over than half of this drama (with a long break at some point) and it's really frustrating that the younger sister never fights back against her older sister's will
Why did L write 23 days later? Could he not write like 80 years for example? Or did I miss something? Thank you.
One of the death note's rules: The Death Note can only operate within 23 days. This is called the 23 day rule. In other words, The longest time a person, whose name is written in the notebook, can live is 23 days.
