I understood the ending like this:
He decided to continuing being an actor and changed his character and became more timid and gentle not to get into trouble anymore. The moment of filming was shown, together with the guy he "hated" but he was okay with him that time and agreed to be "punched".
I didn't get what was with that girl but perhaps he confessed in such way and that was the girl he loved all the time....? I don't know.

Yes, she is married and there were news that she was pregnant so I suppose her child is already born! ^^
