My Mister is foremost a human, slice-of-life drama, so portrays life itself. Life being the way that it is for us as well, we not always know the end of things.
That being said, the drama is an open ending for almost everyone including de couples but you can guess their near future.
The main couple set up a dinner (to catch up the time that they were apart), and pdh's younger brother started writing a story about 3 brothers and 1 girl (and this time we know that he is going to succeed, leading us to think that he is going to date again his former girlfriend).
she had her reasons for being overwhelmed (personal acomplishments, with a kid and a loveless marriage), but yeah, that doesnt justify cheating. I feel for her somehow (altho I don't like her), if we look closer to the uneasy role that a woman needs to portray in a eastern society.
I totally agree that not every soulmate needs to be romantic, BUT they got involved emocionally speaking. When Ji An says that "everyone that helped her only helped 4 times" I still think that there's more into it. There's no way a person would help as deep as DH did without soul connection and love (I'm not saying that this drama approaches a romantic line, becouse it doesn't, but there is love) they did cross a fine line there and Yoon Hee (not only her, but Jung Hee and Ki Hoon as well. Sang Hoon in parts too but as a superego, he pretended not to see it) saw it.
Lost is a good drama, but I think that approaches from a different perspective. Have you start watching My Liberation Notes? 3 Months ago so I hope you did! :D

my pov is that DH is waiting his mother to die in a peaceful way before getting a divorce (she says that whats to die seeing her children happily married). Is good to remember that his wife fell in love with another man, she kinda moved on (DH says "I'm forcefully holding on to a heart that wants to fly way", his wife's heart). Yoon Hee is a very western character, while DH is very eastern. He is a tradicional korean man. Also remeber that she never asked for forgiveness for what she did, she never regretted it. Instead asking for forgiveness, she said that she would play by his rules (because she always made fun of him having an affair), his rules = she helped jian out, and she went to live abroad (to not get a divorce bc if she had stayed, they wouldn't stand live together in a loveless marriage, and they would divorce and he would feel ashamed again).
