also idk why the male lead is not saying anything :( bro is the ceo can he just tell the guy to not treat her…
was just very bad that he stood pretending that it was like nothing, or he would somewhere else while the guy was being rude and diminishing her… was out of his character tbh.
In episode 8, I just want to punch Ma Jin for his harsh comments he said to Mi Seon. I literally wanted Tae Pong…
was the weirdest scene ever… I know that misogynistic comments at that time was like nothing, but tae poong didn’t saw her as just as a mere colleague, he also liked her and he pretended his colleague comments were like nothing? he was diminishing her over and over and tae poong would just leave or pretend he didn’t listened?! weird for me bcs doesnt match to the ML’s personality from the beginning. also, he not only did not fired him because of this nasty behavior but also he bribed an officer of another country in the name of the fking company?!? this is a severe conduct. and tae poong just stood there and said: “oh… its okay, lets take this gigantic damage and lets try again to see if next time will be better!” boring, ridiculous, out of reality.
I relate so much with your review, after ep10 (the thailand arc to be more accurate) every episode was a painful watch, I was cursing at the screen at the whole time lmao, the dragging plot, and at the end, I was glad I finished while watching 2x faster (and I rarely do that)… so much wasted potential that was presented to us in the first half. I watched because I really liked Kim Min Ha’s acting in Pachinko… but the Tae Poong’s mother and her relationship with the grandmother and Beom was what made me finish it tbh.
Does anybody know if she writing new drama? In my opinion she should also try writing novels. Her writing is incredible.
she wrote for a very long time sitcoms. idk if she would adventure into novels, because 16epds seems enough for her message be delivered to us. but I do hope she is writing something or at least thinking about it, searching for new inspirations.
The first part of your sentence was so so confusing. If by ML you mean Lee Min Ho's character then he cheated HIS wife deciving our FL... he knew she was naive and never told her about his real life in Osaka. The FL's husband tho never cheated on her and she never cheated on him (he knew she was pregnant when they got married). Lee Min Ho's character has three daughters with his wife, and a son with FL. Yes he is a cheater, but you can count in one hand which man doesn't cheat, anyways the story is just portraying this filthy behavior.
you probably didn't watch all episodes. They mother broke the window
I prefer to have a less robust plot than a plot that I don't have all the informations needed. For me, when you have a story with tons of deaths, forensics and police is necessary.
Like how can she be charged with her friends murder if her friend died by a bullet. The forensics will know which caliber the gun was, and the gun was with Oh Nam's mother in the car (that ofc she wasn't there anymore)........................ FL doesn't have a gun, so the police need to suspect that a third party was there!!
Cha Kang Shim ends up with Moon Tae Joo, Cha Gang Jae stays with his wife and Cha Dal Bong ends up with Kang Seo Wool.
yeah but they never thought that was fishy the fact that she was nowhere to be found? just vanished? anyways, lazy writing from my pov.
