It doesn't seem like the participants are allowed to get to know other people. They pretty much lock in on the first person they like in the first few eps and it seems just based off of looks.

When Yutong wanted to get to know Peng Gao, the whole vibe got tense. She should be open to explore and chat to others, but the panel wants them to lock in so fast. Mi Die got hurt and it felt like it was barely a week into meeting each other.
