This drama is tagged in Gore category and I'm not really into horror. However, I do like the concept and really…
exactly, someone who gets it. kdramas, well Asian dramas in general, are never scary lol. they just can't be due to censorship (and I don't just mean blurring out gore). they take out anything considered too vulgar for the general audience (so that even younger kids can watch it) rather than just slapping a rating of 18+ on it it's annoying. I stick to western shows/movies if I want to be scared.
Not gonna lie that creature in the thumbnail pic of the article, you know from death note, actually gives me the shivers... all more reason for me to watch this thanks for the actually scary and disturbing movie picks xx cant wait to sit my sis down for movie night telling her its a rom-com
the only thing I don't understand is how people bully/shame her for plastic surgery when literally south korea is the plastic surgery capital where 20-40% of koreans have had cosmetic work performed, still happy dramas seem to be getting into deeper topics rather than the cliche romantic "comedies"
The men grabbing women by the wrists is the most sickly romanticized thing. It's enough to make me stop watching korean dramas completely at times. One of my main issues with korean dramas are, as you mentioned, the main characters somehow always meeting prior or having a shared past we're somehow supposed to care about. It's a headache..
