I liked it but am not a fan of this one. Things at the beginning were going too fast and didn't have a great contextualization, but I then understood the first two episodes just served to set up the following events and the main plot of the drama, which wasn't that bad. And I really liked Kim Hee Sun's acting :)
The movie is different from the book. A lot of events have been cut out, changed or made up. In addition to that, some characters and their related events have been mixed together. Without having a knowledge of the original book it's not easy to follow the movie.
Keeping the plot aside (ehem, the last episode), I am yet to find an older Japanese drama which disappoints in…
I loved those two songs too! Kaede in *that* scene at the station was perfect. I also loved the brilliant green's song "長いため息のように". "I will be happy in your dream, I'll be happy in my mind". Can't get it out of my mind
I've never heard about this drama and found it by accident. It was surprisingly amazing, totally recommended if you want to jump back to the 90s. Congratulations to the duet, loved their acting!
No problem with a bit of drama near the end, but this is a japanese story, so it had to be "nonsensical".The way…
Uhm, yeah, I kind of agree about the ending being "an old cliché". If it was me I would have ended the story in a different way too. But I still loved how it turned out. I think the drama did a really good job in showing the true meaning of a friendship. And the harmony between the two actress was absolutely stunning. A perfect duet!
At the end of the movie we find out that EVERY character is guilty of a crime. Lu Jie tried to kill that girl, Sang Qi definitely killed her, the old man asked for money to keep silence, the cop didn't investigate further when he saw that the guy's family was rich, the victim's mother accepted the money without questioning and Yongzhao... I don't think I have to say it. It's a perfect representation of the human nature and shows how people's mind are contorted.
I was looking forward to watching this drama for Nakama Yukie, but it disappointed. It actually had interesting…
I also agree. I decided to watch it because a love story between two people who wanted to commit suicide was something I have never seen before and thought it could be really interesting. I usually watch everything until the end but I just could not with this and had to drop it. Slow, boring, bad character construction and I did not like at all their acting (I knew her for Ringu 0 when she was young and she acted way better there).
I wish I could give this a 10. The plot got me so much, the acting was very good and the feeling between the main couple was very intense, making it really entertaining. Also, I particularly enjoyed the ending, especially Nana's acting. However, the drama was full of illogical facts (sometimes typical of the crime genre) that ruin the credibility. For example, Hyun Jin entering Soo Hyeon's house, and the other way around, without the key. The same applies for the clinic, especially in * that * scene (see spoiler comment). Or, killers getting away from certain situations without getting caught, and stuff like that. Anyway, I'll give it a 9 because it deserves it. Absolutely recommended :)
I didn't like it that much. It wasn't bad but it could have been better, way better. At least the ending was a…
Her husband brother's blackmail was out of place and didn't get any plot and attention. I wished that other cop would have done something, but he ended up being a useless character. And i wished it had more suspense scenes with investigations and more action like other korean thrillers...
I didn't like it that much. It wasn't bad but it could have been better, way better. At least the ending was a surprise. Anyway I preferred "Missing" with the same lead actress.
The scenery of the movie is beautiful but I can't stand those scenes of violence on animals, especially when, as Wikipedia says, "according to the director Kim Ki-duk, were all real"...
I don't know how to feel about this. I mean, plot was good, but actors were not. Really a very poor acting. Apart from Yan Liang and Li Feng Tian, all the other actors looked really passive and empty to me, I couldn't empatizhe at all with all of them. Also, there is always a constant soundtrack in the background, I found it a bit annoying and out of place. I think China's cinema industry has still a lot to improove.
