The subs on Viki for this are not great. The leads are cute together tho. I wish Zhang Wan Yi would choose more modern projects like this. I really like his historicals as well, but they've started to seem the same.

He chooses garbage scripts sometimes. I like him, but he has a history of this. I haven't seen this show yet tho.

I've finished this. It ended up being better than the first 7-8 episodes made it seem like it was going to be. Still very frustrating at times, but overall good. Gotta say, that emperor is just an absolute dope. Also, the contrast between the ML's tan neck and heavy white face makeup was very obvious at times. I don't understand why they didn't just match the makeup to the color of the rest of him.
