absolutely. he was our inner voice i loved how he kept unraveling the schemes in front of them LOL he was sooo fed up with how idiotic they were. this was definitely his moment along with guo - her acting was phenomenal best out of everyone this ep imo.

wow what a episode. I fear this is my favorite episode so far. it broke my heart for wei rao, i hope she doesn't forgive them easily aside from maternal grandmother. guo is one nefarious villain (what she did was pure evil but that was some 1st manipulative play, like she said she was def above some petty retaliation). everyone's acting was phenomenal. the only thing I'm upset about is jun dai's death, it doesn't feel satisfactory like I'll miss the brat on screen but also i wanted to see her suffer before dying. I wanted to know how she would've reacted to the truth unfolding. i'm bit afraid of how the way story will take turn since everything's out the basket. i heard guo's daughter and the xie girl from early episode along with inner court will be the big villains but i no longer wanna be rage baited by these dimwit women i need some strong villainous acts but in amidst all of this i pray the whole divorce/separation act doesn't drag too long. It gets super annoying. I rather see them together tackling the issues like so far & wishing to see their romance grow as well. Lu Zhou was definitely very invisible since it's focused on MC but i love how he was basically the highlight and our inner voice unraveling the whole plot in front of all those dimwits. the mother is the biggest one of them all. she was so keen on calling wei rao imposter & murderer i want to see the reaction when she finds out the kind of life her daughter has endured & reflect on how many times she's threatened and wish death on her like that's not a easy fix. and most of all, after her adoptive mother served her purpose i no longer want to see any of them on screen please like cut ties & let them be (since she's so kind, maybe give them few money to make a living) but pls don't let them reap her noble status. and seeing the preview gosh I'll be hating on his grandfather and those aunts/cousins so much this show has rage baited me so much. thankfully the mother / grandmother
in law are of sound mind & kind heart, don't change them pleaseeeee! that's all. this show is had for my heart i get so frustrated but I can't stop & i will be tuning in 12am sharp.

i think it's the maternal grandmother i saw someone on YouTube post her grandmother talking in the room (i think it's the same scene since they were same clothes too) but it was in chinese with no sub so i couldn't sense out of it.

i feel like that wouldn't make sense considering their resemblance. It's played by same actress so obviously she looks identical to us but in their perspective they're just lookalike. To make logical sense out of the situation it does make sense if Wei heng is jun dai's mother since she's a twin of wei rao's father. So being cousins, there's possibility but guo yu feng's child cannot bear such striking resemblance. ugh all i know is i need these bishes to suffer like tormented.

what a vile ahh b. instead of setting up her daughters future she's been plotting. she's evil but I don't think there's anything worse than betrayal from your own family, so Wei Heng E needs to have the worst coming for her along with her wicked daughter.

just me who's super confused about Gou Yu Feng (the other aunt) like what's her play here? i understand she was trying to secure a good life for her daughter and she's incredibly bitter but i don't understand why she's going to such length to protect jun dai's identity? or why she even did the swap maybe i missed something. like she doesn't gain much from this since it's not like her daughter's life is gonna be elevated & in fact she might be reprimanded for this like downfall of her own family. i think the worst characters are genuinely Wei Heng E & GUO, her adoptive mother and Jun Dai, and lowkey her biological mother too. but Wei Heng E thoo... gosh how can someone be that evil she caused of all of this. I wish the absolute worst on them, like even death is an easy escape. I need to suffer terribly.

oh god. I'm so irritated. i need A'chou to be more ruthless and nonchalant. i don't want her to mend her relationship with that so called mother. I need them to grovel. after all this, i don't her to be the one to chase and try to tell others about her identity but rather than finding out how utterly foolish and evil they were to their own flesh and blood. i just cannot stand shows where everyone is so unlikeable. how does nobody have any redeeming qualities like i wish the worst on them. the only good people are the grandmas (they're good hearted despite not knowing the full truth). i just hope her husband side of the family doesn't treat her any different if the truth doesn't come out or gets distorted. i hope at least the grandma / mother in law are genuinely good people.

i dunno. i think i would be pretty disappointed if she does tbh. she's done everything she can to support them all those years while being treated like a slave. her mother was just awful, she had her kids at home just "taking care" of her while A'chou was out in fields suffering and didn't have the decency to tell her the truth. I understand they were poor commoners under harsh conditions especially with the abusive father but even then she never protected her and clearly didn't consider A'chou as her own child. i don't think it was just her circumstances, she made the deliberate choice to protect her own children while reducing someone's else as a slave. She's quite frankly an awful person, not just a victim imo. At the very least, A'chou needs to cut ties with them and let them live on their own instead of reaping the benefits of her being well off now. like it's just totally unfair.

yes i don't wish anything bad on them, they were pretty young and didn't know. i wish they had at least try to help her especially the brother as a man. I just don't want her to forgive them or support them, like just cut ties and let them live on their own. considering the hardship she went through all those years, i say that's pretty fair, they shouldn't be allowed to reap more benefits from her.

I'm going to be so upset if she forgives her adopted family, she needs to cut ties completely idc mother is dying. Poor A'chou she had to endure so much to ensure her adoptive family could live well just for this. Aside from her husband family (except few aunts) nobody else has treated her well in her entire life. I cannot wait to see the look in her family's eyes when they realize the life she had to endure and how they treated her. The most wicked person in my opinion is her so called aunt who sought to kill her brother's child for her kid.

i actually cannot wait until her entire family finds out her real identity, and i swear she better not forgive them while they beg and feel awful about the life she had to endure. Aside from her paternal grandma, everyone is wicked including her mother, Consort Li. She's a terrible mother through and through, I can't imagine indulging your "child" like that despite their actions and threatening to boil someone else for their mistake. I'm getting so mad.

omg same, I think it's a decent drama to time pass when you're craving intense chemistry and romance but i think it falls super flat when it comes to the way side characters and their motives are written. it feels like so much is happening fast yet not much is moving aside from their blazing sexy aura and romance. It's def a more typical idol drama. I could not stand the sisters, it just felt so silly and the 2nd ml is hottie but there's no depth no substance. just flat.

I've seen few that are rlly good! I'm just surprised there aren't many likes considering how popular it is. Spring of blade edits already have over 100k likes.

yes, before it's too late. and she's not exactly losing much either. she made enemies with duke's daughter, Du Cuique, and possibly even the late mistress. granted it's due to the ML but still she's honestly safer with him.

tbh although i would've appreciated if he had spoken to her about it at least but the time truly didn't allow the conversation or courtship with crown prince situation, and knowing scholar Han was going to propose ofc he couldn't wait around. The only way to marry her as legal wife was getting the decree (absolutely better than being concubine). I think i would've felt differently if she truly wanted to marry scholar Han rather than settling because he arranged everything with his and her parents.


There's definitely a rough road ahead but i know she'll adapt, and most of all, this was her birth right. Men can be fickle but the fact he went this far to marry a maid as legal wife shows his sincerity in a sense, I didn't think her mother was gonna be that upset/worried (maybe fear of people finding out her identity but that's far fetched). I'm excited to see how she'll maneuver her ways within the household as someone who had that standing. I hope that the story didn't derail as they make their way to capital. I swear in every drama once they get to capital it gets shit, like please don't lose the theme.

i think it's there because the novel had reincarnation plot but the adaption didn't go through with it (so far comparing the novel details from others, the drama seems way better I'm glad they didn't)

Does anyone know when this is getting released. He's one of my favorite actor since "nirvana in fire" and "love like the galaxy" and I've watched all of his shows since. I've been waiting for a new drama with him, like I'll take anything please.

The trailer looks phenomenal. and I already know his acting will deliver. i do hope he'll continue to drop new series with amazing scripts.
