as a historical cdrama girly i‘m confused

this felt like traditional marriage propaganda

the storyline of the drama is really good, but the actors seem like they had no motivation to put effort into their performances (normally i like both of the main lead actors)

he’s so princess with his curles

so far there isn‘t, but there is lot‘s of sheming and the story is engaging. oh and the leads do have tension.

there’s no way her sister tells all her business to the guy that’s obsessed with her only to score points with him

the way she is supposedly the most skilled in fighting but the moment a man holds her wrist she can’t free herself?

i wish we would see her actually progress of scheming and thought progress rather than just seeing the result

with all the people we’ve lost, this can hardly count as a happy endjng 😭

someone needs to teach that princess a lesson- watching her scenes is torture

same, i feel like this trope is overdone in cdramas :3 it’s just annoying atp

i know nothing about her personally and i must say i am not enjoying her performance, maybe the hate she gets is really internalized misogyny but i’m judging her unbiased ^^ (also i’m not hating her acting, maybe i just feel that way because she seems unfit for the role - maybe i will like her more in other dramas)

the face whiping was so unnecessary, like what happend to being a princess and having money. there was no reason for her to whip his face. also when he was taking revenge on the people selling him, her standing there watching creeped me out. she has some psychotic traits. the drama overall is not good enough for me to endure them actually developing a relationship. i hope i’m just delusional and they won’t happen. :3

i’m so over the entitled obsessed girl getting the sweet protective character trope 😭 happens too often in cdramas

it helps understand the universe and characters, since you get their backstory in ancient love poetry. but it is not necessary to understand the story since this is the story of two side characters 60000 years later. <3
