in the book the girl is her actual half sister that her dad had with his first love, glad they changed that in the drama because it was just messy, ig step sister would match this situation better!

the book had 2 parts, second part came out like almost 10 years after first part, the author has a reputation for being a turtle because she is so slow lmaoo but the books goes through the whole 10 year timeline so you see as they fall in love and grow together!

the novel version was so much worse, and when I read it couple of years ago I was on his side, glad I matured hahaha because what was that, a whole green forest and someone who is constantly pushing her away…

I am pretty sure it is that his friend on the day of the accident said that the daughter of XG dad saw YS and liked him, the whole reason why he agreed to go and the accident to happen, daughter might be XG half sister since the friend never mentioned XG’s name. This misunderstanding storyline wasn’t in the book as much as I can remember probably added for the drama.

if you all can’t get over this drama and haven’t watched the first part “Red-Moon Pact” go see it!! such a continuation

restarted watching this after love in pavilion and it makes so much more sense knowing the backstory - this should have been the second or even third part of the series

I wouldn’t say a love triangle but there is someone obsessed with the female lead, the leads start liking each other since ep 1, as for you last 2 questions they get together and get married but don’t have a happy ending, the 3rd season is the story of their son, which according to people should have a happy ending since it is the last of the series

after the double I believe love in eastern palace was there for abit! both are amazing!

He is half demon half human, his mom was a type of water demon who is very rare but is a good demon except when betrayed *spoiler-resentful women* his dad is human which is the marquis who betrayed them and went back to being a nobel man in the capital marrying someone else and everything, which is what made the mom a bad demon.

so the current marquis Zhao is basically his half brother

if you notice at the end of episode 17 Roushi said not to let anyone in, Miao Miao isn’t in which is funny but I don’t think it will work in his favor based on how the story has been developing so far

no he wouldn’t maybe a little misunderstanding but the brother looks up to the ml:)

it is labeled as a limited series on Netflix so unfortunately very unlikely 😭

I see that this is not a lot of people’s cup of tea but I honestly am enjoying it, yes it started out telling you how they will end up because lying is not a way to start a relationship and they went the realistic route with it, the female lead is pretty strong and scheming which I loved she is to the male lead is the perfect partner they go along so well, I tried to focus more on the whole story rather than just the main characters story and I found it very entertaining

I think you misunderstood what I am saying lol, I was watching as it was airing but I was just letting the other person know that when you feel it gets boring it gets even more interesting this drama is 10/10 and I have been watching for over 10 years now so it is hard for a drama to be this flawless
