• High-quality action choreography and a memorable soundtrack.
• Unique protagonist who succeeds through personality and wit rather than just physical strength; sticks to his principles even in the most unfavorable situations.

• Pacing issues in the middle sections.
• The comedy at times might come off too forced.

Maul: a rugby tactic where players bind into each other to score a try
A former rugby star player, retired due to a doping scandal, returns to coach a promising and ambitious high school team.✅ The narrative of the story was satisfactory and interesting to watch.
✅ The reality, victory, and failure of the sports field were skillfully executed.
✅ The camaraderie of the players and the team was cute and charming.
✅ The character development was amiable and actors did a phenomenal job.
✅ The balance between the motivational aspect and the comedy was carried out well.
❌ The internal politics of the coaches and the management was frustrating. It would have been better if it had been kept to a minimum or as an obstacle for the team.
❌ For a sports drama, the matches we see are fewer. I wish they had shown more matches played and practiced rather than just showing the result.
❌ The team except for two had zero background details; the motivation and determination of players could have been added.
Overall, a satisfying watch. Recommended if you like sports and the internal aspects of them.

Filter: Image or Sentiment?
An insecure woman is given a filter bracelet, which can alter her appearance, and chaos ensues when her former high school crush keeps falling for her alternate identities. The performance by the lead cast was very entrancing (especially the alpaca), and the actors who played the alternate identities were great in portraying the characteristics of the original. The scenes when the filter was being used were transitioned very well. It really felt like it was the same person the audience was engaged with. The music was a favorable addition to exhibit the emotions. The secondary characters and their story were wonderful and didn't overshadow the main story flow.
Personal boundaries and psychological lines have been crossed for a few grins. The female and male leads are morally gray to an extent, and their actions at times are hard to connect to and understand. The miscommunication trope has been used a lot. The last few episodes could have been reduced. It didn't add much to the story after the problem was resolved.
Overall, even with cliches and an already used storyline, the drama had its unique qualities and was entertaining.

Potential turned bland.
After a disastrous first meetup of an online gaming couple, they meet as director and director killer years later, but don't recognize each other.Strengths:
• The first half started strong with an interesting premise and backstory.
• Unique and diverse with common profession type main characters.
• The secondary characters were well-rounded and defined; no two-dimensional characters.
Weakness:
• The buildup of the conflict was too high that resolution of it was unsatisfactory.
• The second half was lacklustre compared to the engaging first half.
• Tropes and product placements were too repetitive; it disturbed the flow of the story.
Overall, an okay and forgettable watch.

Fight…? STUDY!!!
A student who wants to study among the chaotic and violent schoolmates makes a study group with the help of some new friends and a recently transferred teacher.Strengths:
- The plot itself is nothing unique, but the way it was portrayed made it a good watch.
- As someone who has read the webtoon, the adaptation was good. There were slight modifications to accommodate the live-action feel, but the best part was the highly dramatic scenes were kept as they are.
- The highlight of this drama is definitely the action sequences. Very nicely choreographed and shot.
- The music, especially the opening, is very addictive. The fights are very well equipped with a music score that elevates the scenes.
Weakness:
- Hong Min Ki's character felt underutilized. I wish they had kept his scenes as they were in the webtoon.
- The teacher, for the most part, was okay, but her words and action were inconsistent as the only adult figure among the team.
Overall, an energy-packed watch. Highly recommended if you want to watch something that came straight out of Webtoon.

In the words of Liao Tingyan, it's a vacation!
A modern office worker, transmigrated to three realms after an accident, has to serve a destructive and tyrannical great-great boss of the world.✅️ The story felt unique even with the usual xianxia tropes.
✅️ The start was strong with comedic timing that didn't feel imposed.
✅️ The characters had a wonderful developmental arc, and the actors performed well in bringing them to life.
✅️ The love story and the chemistry between the actors is definitely the strongest points of this drama.
✅️ Fascinating cinematography with an addictive soundtrack.
❌️ The pacing in the middle of the drama was a little slow with less plot progression.
❌️ The conflicts with the antagonist in the second half of the drama felt repetitive.
Overall, a very good watch. Recommended if you like love story spanning different lifetimes.

An old man with red sneakers stole the show.
A story about a college boy who, following the desecration of his grandfather's tomb, finds himself entering the world of Outsiders. A society with superpowers and qi at its core. Because of an allegedly hereditary skill, he is pursued by adversaries. On his way to the truth behind his origins, he meets an insomniac, an idol, a brainwasher, a white-haired Taoist, an unpredictable shovel lady, and a grandfather with red sneakers. It felt like watching a martial arts drama in a modern setting with fantasy elements. Dramas with this type of backdrop are typically predictable, with the younger generation making their mark on the world and the seniors executing power plays. However, even with the cliches, I was taken aback by this one's distinctive scene changes. The comic elements were executed quite well; however, occasionally they fell flat.
It was my first time watching the main actors, and they gave a wonderful performance. Especially Wang Ying Lu. Her portrayal of Feng BaoBao with innocent and striking boldness came out fittingly.
The fight choreography was great, with good CGI. Despite appearing to be an unrelated plot, the main characters’ intricate backstory was cleverly woven into the primary narrative. The title clearly corresponds to the Zhang Chulan, who believed he was alone, that he had no one, that he was nothing in comparison to the world, but who eventually built his own family. Overall, a fun watch with some funny moments. recommended for those who wish to watch superpowers with martial arts in a present-day context.

- Engaging and fast-paced story, stuck to the genre too well.

The overflowing words become a song
The drama follows the journey of a former teacher turned housemother steering her life and those of the idols under her care and their struggles from the bottom of the barrel to the top in the industry.Things I liked:
- The plot and premise were good
- The lives and hardships of the idol industry as well as their remedies to the issues, some of which were a little over the top.
- Good perspective on trauma and how they dealt with it in the end.
- The narrative was intriguing, and each band member has a unique story to tell.
- The music and lyrics were fantastic.
Things I disliked:
- The female protagonist occasionally gave off the impression of being an adolescent rather than a teacher.
- Several characters' performances occasionally seemed overly strained and phoney, particularly at the crying moments.
- Sometimes I thought the characters were motivated only to further the plot. Certain plot lines felt like they came out nowhere.
Overall, a good one-time watch. Recommended if you want to watch a story with insider stuff on the entertainment industry.

- The story was entertaining till the couple got together.

WHAT I DISLIKED
- Quality declined after the main couple's union with mediocre dialogue.
- Couple interactions felt more artificial in the second half.
- The unnecessary plot points that weren't concluded clearly.
- The final episodes were mostly filler scenes with a climactic conclusion.
Overall, an okayish watch. Recommended if you want to watch more Wattpad-style stories and just for fun with limited brain consumption.
