This is exactly what I needed. I have been struggling so much with cdramas, can't find "the one" yet. I've actually tried a few but in vain. Loved the comprehensive analysis, great effort and impressive overall! Btw out of the top historical cdramas, are there any beginner-friendly ones,?
This trope is very controversial but as long as the student isn't a minor and the teacher isn't related directly to the student's academic grades, I think it'll be fine regardless of the age gap. I know it disgusts a lot of people to see this trope and it's NOT ok to normalize it. But I'm curious as a general viewer so I think I'll give it a shot and see it for myself.
The concept and the message was great but the editing was off and I didn't understand the whole thing that was related to SenXiang's death till I finished the movie and read the comments. The translations were also badly done.Acting was really good and Ren Min did an amazing job as YiYao.7/10
