It's not as boring as people claim it to be. Even though I skipped some scenes, the 'scientist stuff' was interesting enough for me to not drop. The FL was pretty refreshing to watch. She had her own set of principles and was usually unwavering about it. A good character! She may come off as adamant and inconsiderate. Whereas the ML doesn't have enough character depth, he just exists there. The main plot about the broker and the whole spy stuff hasn't come yet. So am pretty much anticipating that. Would've dropped if it wasn't for this.
Personally, this show was a huge letdown for me in terms of the mental health aspect. This drama tried to be a lot of things at once and the later eps got dull due to the focus shifting on the plot of Moon Young's mother. The production team had done a great job with the visuals but the writing was not strong enough. I didn't like any character in this drama, one of the main reasons why I wasn't able to enjoy it.
Yes, Park Joo Hyun with the main role! I've developed a recent love for Chae Jong Hyeop from Nevertheless! Anyways, looking forward to see these two together ^.^
Why do I call it a filler? It gets boring. In terms of plot, there isn't much happening. I almost slept and was slapped awake by the ending sequence. Don't blame me!
But it's essential? After the "temporary split up" between Nabi and Jae-Eon, we see how obsessed she was about him. Moreover, the lack of interactions with him created a void, made her life boring. She thought that Eun-han who is more "her type" would fill up the void, but he clearly didn't. As a viewer, I was bored to see her interact with Eun-Han cuz as Nabi said, there wasn't any spark. The last sequence was exhilarating to watch and was the definition of the spark she desired. I'm not talking about the intimate scenes but the mere presence of him made her heart race.
Expanding more on the essential part -
Nabi: She undoubtedly did some questionable actions. The one which was the most prominent was stalking. The overwhelming feelings and temptations clearly took a toll on her. In this ep, we can obviously see how she is neither naive nor innocent. She knows what she wants. This is what is relatable to a lot of people. This drama defines these emotions and even gives an outlook of how toxic they can be.
Jae-Eon: He's indeed manipulative. I don't want to buy his "act of concern", but my alter ego urges that some part of him actually has a special liking to Nabi. The writers showed that through the scenes where he was visibly disturbed by Eun-Han and when he called the police thinking that it was an emergency situation with Nabi.
Seol-Ah: Mystery girl. I'm not sure what's her relation with Jae-Eon. My speculation is that she is either his sister or his "most memorable" ex.
Jiwan and Sol: I'm most anticipating for their plotline and hopefully, they will be endgame. Jiwan was particularly annoying this ep and she certainly overreacted. I mean, she can go out on countless blind dates, but Sol can't? Also, she believes that there is a distance that is being gradually created between their friendship and that Sol is not interactive. She also has these growing uncertainties with her feelings toward Sol. And Sol's the best girl, I absolutely love her.
Dohyuk: The second most anticipating thing is him. I'm excited to see him with Nabi and even just a standpoint of his character. And thrilled to see the potential impact ( even though not as critical as Jae-eon's) he brings into Nabi's life. I didn't expect to encounter him this early in the drama.
BitNa and Kyuhyun: Didn’t expect them to bloom a romance already. Considering Bitna's personality there's ought to be some conflicts.
The cinematography and osts were splendid as always! The plot progression was very smooth. Each ep shows the relationship between Nabi and Jae-Eon growing effortlessly and it's well-paced for a 10 ep drama.
My overall opinion about this ep is that plot-wise there wasn't much happening so I enjoyed it a bit lesser than the first 2 eps but it leisurely creates more room for getting to know the characters and their relationships which constantly improves the dynamics of the drama.
I don't think it's cliche at all so safe to say that u can watch it. The drama is the same as the description so I would say give it a try and see if it looks good.
The ep literally started out with a comedic scene and in the middle, it was all tears and then ended on a good note. Like how, so many emotions in just one ep? This drama never disappoints. Such a great comfort watch.
ok, we have a Chicago typewriter reunion 😍 Also, we have Go Kyung Pyo in the 1988 timeline again! (I'm referring to Reply) Don't wanna have high expectations tho lol !!!

Eunwoo is an amazing person. Admire him a lot.
Love the article!
Wanna watch this so bad ;(
I wouldn't word it as an as*hole but more like an antihero .
He's more dark and evil.
Will be looking forward to more :D

I think it's just my blind love for Dohyuk!
