On I Told Sunset about You Jan 9, 2021
This series breaks my heart again and again and again. I cannot not think about it. I randomly hum to the soundtracks, recall Teh and Oh-aew sweet scenes and smile to myself like a goddamn fool, I randomly go to yt and see the edits and cry to myself at nights thinking about the beautiness of this drama. Conclusion: This drama is so good that you can't move on.
Edit: Season 2 is postponed. T T

I agree. If they gave us more love stories instead of one main one, we would enjoy more fluffy screentime instead…
So true. Honestly, the relationship between Jugyeong's sister and the teacher is far more engaging than the triangle. I also like Soo Ah and her boyfriend, they are really cute. They can do something more about the plot itself because it is going very blandly.

I think it would be great if they finish off the love triangle because I'm getting tired of it. I'm a big fan of Seojun and we all love the moments between Seojun and Jugyeong but Jugyeong likes Suho and that's what matters. Also she doesn't have any feelings for Seojun and considers him as a friend. So it would be good if they end up pairing Suho and Jugyeong, but give a satisfying ending for Seojun too.

That was a great start. The first two eps are promising, hope the story development is good. Both the leads were great. It is a good improvement for Korean BLs to now have 15min eps instead of 10 min ones, I'm not going to complain about the length. If this continues I guess we'll get the one hour eps soon. Let's hope for that.

Wish it was longer, but it was short and sweet. It was really good and can be a great binge.

I am so obsessed with it that, I watched the show then rewatched it with my sister and now finished reading the manga too. There is a sequel to the manga right? Is it worth reading?

Title Alice in Borderland Spoiler
Why was Witch Hunt (where there was a solution that didn't involve killing or sacrificing anyone if they had stopped…
The part about the dealers is basically that if the players collect all the cards except the face cards then all the dealers die. The players are playing as one here against the dealers (for now). The dealers who deal with a particular game gets the number of days in their visa according to the number of people who died in that game. There are branches of places in the whole of Borderland where the dealers monitor the games. One set of dealers manage a set venues where the games are held. Maybe dealers win when once all the players are killed in games. I'm not sure about that. As far as I remember, the dealers receive instructions from someone else, from someone above them. We see at the end of the show is that all the dealers had died when Arisu and Usagi found that place. It is okay if every single player doesn't collect all the cards. It is all a big fat lie by Hatter that if they collect all the cards then they can go back to the original world. Honestly I would say don't stick to that idea. We just don't know that yet.

In the 7 of hearts, it could have been intentional but maybe not by the dealers but someone else. It is a 7 because they were great friends so if there were strangers who played that game, the level would've been lesser. Maybe if they sat and thought it out, they could've thought of something where no one has to die.

The instructions for the The Witch Hunt itself was that one dealer should sacrifice themself to start off the game. The both girls were the ones who volunteered because they were guilty of many people dying because of them in the previous games, so that they would get more days on their visa. The Witch Game itself is a game where we need to suspect even our best friends and maybe even kill them in order to survive. Yes,the 10 was because of Aguni, who would go on a rampage and won't allow them to sit in peace and think it out.

The whole point of hearts game itself is that it plays with your emotions and makes you betray the people who you are close with. All the hearts games as far as I've read do have solutions but the 7 of hearts was a exception. If it is strangers who play the hearts game, the game sometimes isn't about betrayal but more about testing the will to survive and human instincts and such. It plays with your psychological self.

I would recommend for you to read the book, it would give you a clearer explanation about a lot of things that happened.

Why was Witch Hunt (where there was a solution that didn't involve killing or sacrificing anyone if they had stopped…
Since I also read the manga, I'll anwer with the elements in that which was missed in the show.
The Witch Hunt was actually only supposed to be 5 of hearts but it was changed to 10 of hearts when Hatter was killed by Aguni. This was done because Aguni was the perfect weapon for the dealers to use to kill everyone in the beach because Aguni beleives that the people of the beach had made his best friend act the way he was acting (basically crazy). In this case, the dealers beleived that Aguni will avenge his friend's death by killing everyone in the name of a game. In the manga, he was called the Witch's Guardian. That is why it is a 10 of hearts.
I also presume that the 7 of hearts was actually wasn't held at all until these group of friends joined the games. This could have been intentionally done by the dealers, by predicting Arisu and friends' location and making them play the 7 of hearts and maybe the visa expiration also plays a role here. If the players were strangers it wouldn't have been as interesting as these group of friends. Also a lot of people don't die here. I guess that is why maybe it's a 7 of hearts.
