Honestly I really like this drama but for the few last episodes seemed to rushed and not logic..
It started from the couple went back to the capital.
- Yeah I know that XJ already reported to the emperor that HY is a girl but everything seemed to be so easily passed by when her identity is exposed openly. Emperor said he already know, at the end everyone just accept and let it by.
- HY's mother appeared at the court, yeah XJ helped her to be there but kinda absurb and why she is poisoned? Who did that? Why no one questioned it?
- XJF / chancellor' death also abrupt to me. A person who is full of schemes and thoughts, why easily worked up by CZ, and he only stated that he don't like his daughter, why get agitated even lose his life.
- YX, the maid who is skilled and able to fight assassins, easily died by the hand of the chancellor's daughter with only hand knifes, just stabbed on back of her shoulder.
- YH also died becoz of the arrow on his arm, not his chest or something vital. IF, i meant IF you said that the arrow is poisoned, at least had someone screamed that YH got poisoned by the enemy's arrow, so his death will not looked that stupid. But no, we only know that he died becoz got shot by the arrow on his arm.
- The emperor is easily manipulated, not wise enough.
- CZ's ending scene, we don't see him but just some narration.
I actually preferred the Dudu/Commander and Soldier HY scenes better than XJ/HY.
The episodes durations also very short.
But one thing I like is the fight scene of XJ, his skills and expression is very good.
HY fighting skills is also good although we know that some hard moves still done by the professional subtitute actor, but her expression managment is very good and the shoots also taken nicely, somehow I just believe that those moves are solely done by HY.
I got to know actor Cheng Lei from this drama, before I just find him ordinary, becoz I don't watch MJTY.
He really is a good actor, will watch his others drama too..😊

Yeah, i think later the plot will shown that all people misunderstood ML, all this time actually the one who helped and support them quietly is ML, some will regret and become ally with him, some will be stubborn and get karma in the end.
His father will wakes up from his mistakes and apologize also appoint him as the new emperor, the FL also become emperess. HE
The reason why I posted becoz some just support the ML solely becoz they are fans of him and bashed other character without thinking of their situations.
If the 2ML played by this person, believe me they will hate the ML and protect the 2ML.

Well the drama did shown 2ML have regretted that he did not believe the ML when he was on the Pingrong battle and will make it up to him. In the other hand, ML lead hates 2ML that he want to kill him, stole his things and burn his father belongings, etc.
But it seems yeah to most people maybe ML is the one who suffered the most because his father did not believe in him, locked up in cold palace, peoples fear him and sees him as monster, everything he do is good.
It's okay, you have your opinion after all, i'm just saying mine so no need to agree with me either as I already guessed it many will disagree with me.
It seems only ML is the most pitiful one and others are bad peoples.
I actually enjoyed watching the first few episodes after I watched this scenes :
- ML stole 2ML Qianyu blade, which is originally 2ML father belonging and left it to his son after he died. ML exhanged the blade with fake one, breaking it half to make his arm weapon and teased him in front of his soldiers after he break his fake blade.
- Threaten FL to breaking off the engagement using Li Shi Liu mechanical arm, enjoying the FL worried expression for Li Shi Liu which is actually ML himself.
- Burned Qianyu military manual even though he already get the method of weapon forging notes from the book, which is the only thing 2ML father left for 2ML.
It makes me dislike his character more and people only see him as victim, blames the FL and 2ML, nowadays the 2FL also get hates because of the latest episode.
Please consider their situations too, I pity the 2ML the most, lost his father and his belongings, lost his fiancee and almost got beheaded by ML in the first EP because ML hates him for not believing and saving him when he locked up in cold palace, I mean what can a child do about it? you should know all of this must be coming from those adults who scheming this plot. Come on, he blamed all of it to the 2ML.
Now when his real identities revealed by the FL, people request that FL should have not blame him after all he do for her, come on do you feel happy if you were in the FL positions?
Please judge fairly don't just because you are the ML fans or his other drama CP fans.
