Following dating shows, particularly Korean ones has shown me that people hate confident women. They call them 'pick mes'. That's not even the right usage of the term. 'Pick mes' are girls that put down other women for men's attention. A girl knowing that she is attractive and using that to her benefit on a DATING SHOW does not make her a 'pick me'. That's the whole point of dating shows: attraction and connection. Women, you're allowed to be confident in your looks. Men definitely are.

It's a dating show so yes, you're supposed to be able to approach anyone. Also, you've only seen 2 episodes. She hasn't stolen anyone yet like you claim. 3. The girls who like Yoong Jae are clear about why they are attracted to him. From watching other shows, it seems Korean girls might like more quiet types. Quiet doesn't mean bland though and if you watched the trailer, you'll know. 4. The trailer does show plenty of physical contact between the people who go to Paradise. Also, it could be a cultural thing too. Physical contact is more common in Western cultures. 5. The whole point of the show is that being on the island is hell or Inferno. I think it's to drive up emotions. Like you're more sensitive when you're hungry etc. Also, it motivates people to be more proactive so that they can go to Paradise. That's why the prizes are coffee etc. 6. I do believe people are still hesitant because it has only been 2 days so they're still waiting to be comfortable around each other. Also, they get closer at Paradise. Another really important thing to remember about reality shows especially dating shows is that editing is important. A past contestant, Yae Won said that they talk more but that isn't included in the final edits as they have a story to create and prefer certain topics.
