Ok, so one of the things that I was waiting for was the real motivation and reason behind Hwa Young giving Yi Soo's name out as the one she wanted dead and guess what, we get a vague, 'because I wanted to live' bull crap answer. No, no, I won't accept that. I want there to be an interesting reason for it, so how about this? All this time, I had just assumed that she was jealous of her friend, like, for various reasons, and perhaps even a part of her liked Hyun Jae. But then, once The Guy said 'you actually gave me the wrong name back then', I thought, hmm, maybe it's the opposite! Maybe she liked Yi Soo and was mad at her for marrying Hyun Jae and The Guy was saying she should have given his name back then! I don't know. I'm going to tell myself that so there was a reason to watch 16 episodes.
At the end of ep 4, can anyone tell me WHY all the police officers just stand around looking confused and surprised for like thirty seconds, watching him get killed? I mean, they obviously just wanted the guy to die, because that was one of the most easily preventable deaths ever. (Also, I want more Jang Hyuk.)

Oh, is that why the bromance tag was removed, cos I really saw a tag before and now it's not there...does Shim…
Well, she is slightly less annoying, but I try to ignore most of her scenes anyway. About the bromance tag, yeah, I guess it was removed for that reason, but even when it was there, it was not your typical bromance anyway, since In Woo was just kinda loving that he had found someone he thought was like him and so it was one-sided at best. I still thought it was funny and cute, but I knew it wouldn't last.
At the end of ep 7 I just kept thinking, "See, Dong Shik, this is what happens when you leave Alfred behind!"
Honestly, I was a bit sad when the odd bromance between In Woo and Dong Shik ended, because it was funny and oddly cute, but I must say, the bromance between him and the gangster is now my favorite thing about the show. I hope it continues even when he finds out he's not a killer.
Nice article but honestly I feel like it should be titled: Interesting J-Dramas that will come out next year, most of which will probably never be subbed in their entirety.
I agree with all the ones mentioned here, because yes, I've seen them all. But I also have to mention a few more of my faves.
Cruel City, Orthros no Inu, Circle, Two Cops, Kamen Rider W, Ouroboros, The Three Musketeers, The Boy Next Door (one of the funniest web dramas ever!) Black and White, Shut Up Flower Boy Bank and finally, one that will make you have ALL sorts of feels, Project S: Skate Our Souls
Of course, this is leaving out movies, because, you know, that's a different topic...
5-ji Kara 9-ji Made (J) Birth of a Beauty (K) Chief Kim (K) Cinderella and the Four Knights (K) Go Princess Go (C) I’m Not a Robot (K) Kamen Rider W (J) Don't judge me... Kaseifu no Mitazono (J) Modern Farmer (K) School 2013 (K) Shopping King Louie (K) Yasuko to Kenji (J)
Ok, so those are a mixed bag, true, and some are good subjectively, some are good objectively, some are both, but all of them are dramas that I loved because they made me happy, they made me laugh and while not perfect, at the end of the day, if a show can do that for me, I'm inclined to watch (at least parts of it) again and again.
Not bad so far. I've just seen the four that's been subbed. It's not exactly the same, they've changed up some parts, but overall, since I never thought Lookism would get a drama, I'm pleased with it. (Petty me says the character playing Jay should be much cuter, but that's just my opinion. And honestly, since he actually speaks here, I dealing with it fairly well.)
But I do have one nagging question maybe someone else can help me with. They kept talking about that 'meat' being human meat, but was that just a tease? I mean, honestly, who would they have been eating? If they ate the ones they killed, then who did they bury?
Also, the real shock for me, in the end, was that the thug from the beginning didn't die! I thought nearly every episode, he's got to be dead now, right? But somehow he lived!
Anyway, thanks for any info you can give about the meat, I've just been wondering about it...
