Ok, so I have been super patient and have held off watching because of being scared of a bad end, but now that it's over, those who have seen it all, please tell me if the brothers still get along and are not fighting when it's all said and done. I've seen too many dramas where the relationship between brothers is ruined because of the relationship of the leads and I can't bear to see that happen again. So, please, more than the romance, I need to know if the brothers get a happy ending and are still friends in the end. Thanks in advance!
Would have given it a higher rating if Yolk hadn't died, but they had to ruin it and kill the best character off, even though they could have easily gotten around him having to die. (Just like what happened in Parasyte.) I'm so disappointed.
Ok, so this is a drama where I'm torn between loving it so much I want to keep watching more, but also kind of relieved when the episode is over so I can breathe again. (I don't want to wait another week though. It's so great and everyone is just excellent in their roles!)
As for me, I really didn't think it was very good after the first episode or two, but I stuck with it and I'm so glad I did! It's a bit of a slow burn and you might think it's boring in the beginning, but now that it's half over, I can say, I really like it. You should give it a try. and keep in the mind the psychological part of the thriller element takes some time to develop. I think it's actually better that way.
Oh my lord, YES!!! I can't wait! There can never be enough Sherlock in my life and there can never be enough Dean Fujioka so combining the two will be like heaven for me! Bring on the witty banter and bromance! (Also, please someone sub it!!!)
WHAT??? WHY??? NO!!! That better not be the way they end this drama universe!!! I WON'T ACCEPT IT!!! (I don't even know how to rate it or if I should be mad or not.)
The Count of Monte Cristo is my favorite novel ever and so I've seen most movies, dramas or other shows about this story and honestly, this is one of the best! The only thing I would have changed is at the end, when he's standing there with Airi, I would have liked them to have had a short conversation about how much she loves him and for him to accept her love, like it happens in the novel. Not a lot, just ... something. I mean, I made it up in my head, because you know, of course, that she's going to stay with him, but that end was just slightly too abrupt for me. Still, ten out of ten for everything else, because it was so well done and I just loved it! It is so sad that more people won't be able to watch this. Japanese dramas are terribly underrated.
Well, after three episodes I have to say, if it's their aim to make me hate all the characters, aside from Eun Som, Tan Ya and Do Ti, then they're succeeding quite well. And, not just hate, I really and truth loath the people in this drama. Long, maddening scenes of violent, pointless deaths of men, women and children and then they smile and laugh about it? Death is not enough for these people. I get angrier with each episode. But still I watch, because, you know, Song Joong Ki.
I hope they mean it and there really is a good bromance here! I can't get enough bromance, especially when it's done right. So much better than romance to me.
Ok, this has been bothering me since the first episode but Seo Yool didn't have all of his fingers cut off last season, right?? It was just the one, wasn't it? So why does he have scars on all of his fingers? Am I just remembering something wrong?
Yes, there is and it's excellent. It's a somewhat mature bromance based on mutual respect, loyalty and trust,…
Ah, I see, but I love all bromance, especially when there is loyalty and trust, regardless of age, so I'll be sure to check it out now that it's over. (I love to binge a good show!) Thanks for the reply!
Oh, stop being such a tsundere just because you're in Japan, Kang Woo. We know you just like to be a lone wolf because you don't want anyone else to be hurt.
But seriously, I love Kwon Joo so much for always being so quick to defend him and understand him. Although I don't blame her for being mad at him for never wanting to explain his actions, which seem really callous and mean on the surface. He just needs to know they all love him and want him on the team, regardless of what he's caught up in.
I'm so glad this season is longer, I love it!
P.S. I want Kwon Yool back and at least a guest appearance by Jang Hyuk.
