resorting to stereotyping a race as a form of comedy is baffling. idk what the producers were smoking letting the Alex scene (which was completely unnecessary) make the cut.
Did y’all know that the cast previously participated in a campaign that stands against racism? 🙃https://www.allkpop.com/article/2021/06/penthouse-cast-members-stand-against-racism-as-they-participate-in-the-live-together-campaign
After watching episode two of season three, I am more than disappointed. SBS's poor way of conveying "comedy"…
MANE I WAS SO HYPED TOO. did yall not learn from backstreet rookie? Makjang dramas are supposed to be over-the-top but what kind of ridiculous vision are ya'll seeing by having a cast member stereotype black people. The terrible excuses yall have come up w/ deflecting the situation and defending that scene is blatantly ignorant.
After watching episode two of season three, I am more than disappointed. SBS's poor way of conveying "comedy" to the audience was extremely repulsive and insensitive. Park Eun-Seok : for someone to have grown up in a dominantly English speaking country should be well educated enough to know the difference between right and wrong. You could've said no to play the role of Alex?
Overall, the plot is spiraling. The constant killing of characters, betrayal of characters and resurrecting of characters makes The Penthouse look rlly repetitive as a show. And it sucks cause the cast did an amazing job the first and second season.
