Action Packed yet still Emotional
It was a surreal experience that one of my favorite kdrama came back with a season 2! I really enjoyed every bit of the scenes and the friends sieun made was just as spectacular just like in the first season. However, it's a let down that we didn't see Jun Tae and Go Tak's family so that we can really expand our understanding towards their characters. I'm also glad that Jun Tae didn't forgive Hyo-Man for what he did to him. Nevertheless, i think they all did great.
The villains were also commendable for their performance. Lee Jun Young's performance is just as great with his performance on Class of Lies (though different type of psychotic behaviour, they're still on par).
Moreover, Su-ho and Beom-seok's appearance here genuinely made me happy. They will be forever my weak hero trio.
The conclusion of this season was a bit underwhelming. Half of the last episode was just them fighting. Although, it was implicated at the end that our quadro are still together, i think it would be better if we saw their glimpses of memories—hanging out and playing basketball.
Just earlier, i went to a reddit post and i saw that it was a discussion if Suho and Sieun was inlove. Honestly, i do believe so. Yearning for almost 2 years is real love, if it's not, idk what is (would love for someone to send me updates in messages while im hospitalized, lol).
And with that, Park Ji Hoon, you're my fucking motivation and the fucking GOAT. Watch me ace the next academic year because of your performance as Sieun, just kidding.
Weak Hero Class 1 & 2 is one of the kdramas that is really on par with the webtoon they adapted. Hats off to the crew behind this, y'all also deserve a praise for this masterpiece you brought to us! I'll be rewatching this as soon as possible in the future.
