I really did not enjoy this one. There were too many sub plots happening. I kept fast forwarding to watch the main leads but they didn't even have much screen time. Eventually I dropped it at ep 5. What a pity because I'm a sucker for rich man poor woman and overbearing CEO dramas..
1) Masterpiece: something made or done with great skill 2) Perfect: make (something) completely free from faults or defects, or as close to such a condition as possible.
With those definitions in mind do you still disagree that if I say something is of great quality, it has to be flawless? So you have never thought something is outstanding but still has flaws? If so, then we both have different opinions of what a masterpiece is. However, according to those definitions (and plenty other definitions online), stating something is a masterpiece does not mean it is without faults.
Good to know its getting better for you. Happy watching!.. or not, if you decide to drop it.
You're entitled to your opinions. I have to admit, it was flawed however I also didn't say it was perfect. I still think its a great drama. More than the plot, I was impressed with their acting.
WOW. TRULY. A. MASTERPIECE. This was so well-executed! I'd really like to write a long review about how outstanding this drama is but that would take ages because I cannot say enough positive things about this drama. I usually dislike family-focused dramas even though they're paired with my favourite genre (mystery), however THIS is on another level. I also usually gravitate towards dramas that revolve around unravelling the murder mystery. This drama was so immensely intense and suspenseful that you even forget about figuring out who the murderer is. Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker is the only acting I have ever been passionate about however Lee Kyu Han's acting in this drama is the BEST acting I have ever witnessed in my 9 years of watching Kdrama. Im Soo Hyang and Bae Jong Ok's acting was truly impressive as well. I have never loved hating a villain, if that makes sense. I hated Director Han's interferences but I LIVED and anticipated for her next move. If I could describe this drama in one word; it would be CHESS. You're constantly anticipating for your opponent's next move and what will happen to the "King". Daebak, truly daebak. Even the OST is well-matched with every situation.
I genuinely can't decipher why this drama is not popular.. It keeps you on your toes and is a great thriller/mystery/courtroom drama without gory scenes. Despite the plot and genre, it does not make you feel disgusted and is not overly dark but just enough that you can enjoy the plot twists and revelations.
I reaaaally wanted to like this because I love LDW and YIN... unfortunately I wasn't feeling their chemistry here. Throw in the mediocre plot and so its no mystery why I got bored and dropped it. PS: if you're looking for a great romcom that will move you, watch Her Private Life https://kisskh.at/32293-her-private-life
This is a very difficult drama to rate just because objectively its very average and it was really flawed but subjectively? I loved it. I lost interest in the murder mystery halfway through the story (which says a lot bcs I love murder mysteries) but the big reveals at the end was great! I thought the guy that I shipped her with was extremely sweet and you can see/feel how much he loved her. I thoroughly enjoyed the love story because I laughed, cried and squealed. One thing though; I did not feel satisfied with the love story’s ending, especially after so much hardship that the main couple experienced. The humour and OST were amazing as well. If you’re hesitating to watch; watch it if you enjoy love triangles and misunderstandings.
