Wow, wow & wow.

For me personally, Bad Buddy has been dethroned, and not because of the main story in this, but the side story. Gemini and Fourth absolutely stole the show for me; although the rest of the cast did a great job, the chemistry and acting between G/F is just unchallenged, and what's even more impressive to me is that that's without one of them really ever speaking.

And although I mostly enjoyed MSP (mainly for the acting), I would have loved to see them reprise these roles in Our Skyy 2 because even though they got a fraction of screen time, I feel like there's far more substance to the characters.

Title Bad Buddy
Finally forced myself to watch the last episode. A little devastated it's over tbh! Part of me wishes I didn't ever see it because I don't think anything will come close anytime soon to this in terms of total pure quality, and now everything I see for probably the next 5 years until another contender comes along will be compared.

Watched the new behind the scenes today too, that looked into the balcony kiss and that scene has hit me even harder that it did originally just knowing what happened (and I didn't even understand a word!)

The actor who plays nubsib has always been, in my opinion, pretty "stale" in the way he acts. It's very monotone.…
I completely agree, which is a shame because this series is otherwise quite enjoyable for the most part.

Started off a bit of a slog tbh, and I nearly dropped it but it seems to be getting better and better, Gene's a great character, and the story is getting really interesting, but for some reason I just don't like Nubsib's character, I think its the acting, for some reason it just seems off but I have just come off 1000 Stars and We Best Love which were phenominal tbh. I'm watching because I don't mind the story, and I'm interested in Gene but I probably wouldn't rewatch it tbh.

Hopefully, you'll enjoy it as much as many do! =)
Well, I binged the entire series in one night and didn't end up going bed until 8am... absolutely amazing show. Easily one of the best BLs to date. 2021 is a very good year year it seems for quality BL :)

Well, I'm 10 minutes into this and already I'm blown away by the quality of the cinematography. This seems a lot more higher budget than 90% of other BL's and I cannay wait to get stuck into watching it!

Will edit this when I'm further in! :)

Wow what a show.

A very famous director once said that pacing is everything, and the director does an excellent job of it throughout this season and the last(although there is a couple of shaky moments this sseason), which fully resonates with me personally, which is a world apart from western shows where everything's so fast paced, theres no time to take anything in. There's seriousness, but also comedy, there's high emotion, but also fluffy and it touches on (albeit lightly) on stuff like Autism. (Although, I do believe the character is just copying L from Death Note a little too much).

It seems like Thailand really kicked off the BL trend, but Taiwanese (and Filipino tbh) are really taking it up a notch in terms of deliverability. and quality. I look forward to a season 3 as I believe the character development has been spot on without giving away to much so quickly or slowly to the point where we lose interest, and there's still very much in terms of story, they can continue with.

Definitely a 9/10 for me and easily one of the best series to date, and even though the second season is a little weaker, it's still a very enjoyable one.

10/10 1st Season
9/10 2nd Season

I'm genuinely confused by people saying there's no new footage, and it's just flashbacks... about 10/20% of it is flashbacks, but the rest is new stuff that I can tell.

Season 2 was good, considering the circumstances with Covid I think they've done a great job. And it was a breath of fresh air to see a show that doesn't even mention the pandemic... Chemistry between the main actors was spot on as always, and the side characters were okay. Techo however... what have they done to him? I found him funny in the first season, witty and everything, however after that he was just annoying. A shame because he had the makings of a great character.

Really enjoyed the show, and kinda sad it's over now. I don't know if Mew and Gulf will go onto do other things together, but I think their chemistry on TharnType was a double edge sword. I don't think they'll be able to escape the characters of Tharn and Type now, and I don't think the audience will ever think of them differently which might actually result in them being cast less than the other mainstream BL actors.
