Not terrible. Just a little too childish for my taste. It really didn't help the ML has the body of a 10 year old boy here. For the first time ever in a drama I wanted to fast forward every scene where his shirt was off.
Am I watching the same drama as everyone else? The editing is so disjointed that if I hadn't read the synopsis and seen other clips I would have dropped it after the first episode.
Why was this set in Thailand? it's not even being used as a plot device. It could have easily been set in China and they wouldn't have had to change a thing. Also, Mike Angelo is super handsome but they are not doing him justice.
I want to like this so much because all of the shorts have been so good but I am struggling.
I am actually enjoying this but there is more than one scene where a major accident/incident occurs and instead of rushing to help there is 20 minute (hyperbole) montage of everyone 'reacting'. It is filling me with so much anxiety thinking this person might die because they received assistance 20 minutes later than they could have.
I really thought I was going to love this. But, the ML was too much. Instead of caring for the FL like a partner/equal, he treats her like a child who is incapable of thinking for herself. It's played off as being romantic but it actually felt really controlling and I couldn't get past it.
No matter how many times I have watched this, I cannot get more than 10 minutes into the first episode without crying my eyes out. Something about this drama gives me the feels every time. Anytime D.O. comes on screen, Kwangsoo oppa, the way Zo Insung says "Hyung" in the first scene. I'm wrecked.
Watching this reminded me how good 'The Day of Becoming You' was. So, I dropped this after struggling through the first half of the series and rewatched that instead. Now I am fulfilled with a good body swap drama.
Why did no one point out to the ex husband he was absolutely in no position to be commenting on the potential relationship. Wouldn't the age gap between FL and ex husband be similar to FL and ML? The FL would have been the same age or younger than ML current age when they got together?!? Also, the ex husbands next partner is considerably more upsetting than FL dating a younger guy....
i found Part 1 followed the Spanish version a little too closely. It was hard to watch without comparing the two and finding the Korean version to be slightly lesser (likely due to lack of originality). I was hoping they would do more of their own take on it as they came up with a unique premise. Hopefully part 2 follows it's own path.
