Just finished rewatching the entire drama with my mom and wanted to come here again for another appreciation post for this masterpiece drama. I have watched so many dramas from 2003-2020 present day, and this drama is still the best. My mom bawled at the end. It is so heartwarming, bittersweet, and relatable.
Should I give this drama a try? (I was impressed by IU's acting in Hotel Del Luna so I came here). Do you guys…
Yes I would recommend you to just try it. It surprised me by how good it was because I usually don't like historical dramas. I went into this drama also knowing that people said it involved a lot of tears but I ended up not crying.
Noo..... why did the rating go down. It definitely deserved the 9.1. But I am also surprised that it stayed at a 9.1 for so long. It is hard for a drama to maintain such a high rating for long
I feel like I am in the minority in that I don't love this drama. I'm on episode 4 of hospital playlist and I feel like it isn't that good. there are only a few good moments in each episode. everything else is fluff. there is no progression in the story. I feel like I barely know the main characters and that is reply's specialty, having an emotional connection with the characters but at the moment, I don't feel any emotional connection to them. This drama is not focusing enough on the main characters but more on the supporting characters which I don't like. I actually want romance between the friends, that was also Reply's specialty. Creating heart wrenching love triangles, they were my favorite. Basically, I am getting bored of this drama.
I watched both back to back and indeed I got bored with the second series that I watched. I watched MLFAS after…
yeah I guess. I watched MLFAS first and then LOTBS second and couldn't manage to get past the first episode with LOTBS. I guess I should not watch them back to back and wait a bit before I try watching LOTBS again.
I loved the entire drama but that ending made me have to dock down from a perfect 10/10 to a 9.5/10. It was too…
Also I was frustrated that Seo Jung Hoo never fully cleared his father's name. Like yes, they got the tape and proved he is innoncent, but they didn't show it to the police. The ending was just way too rushed and the audience just had to imagine for themselves that Seo Jun Suk's charges were cleared and that Kim Moon Shik and the Elders and all who worked for them went to jail. There was way too much they did not cover. Also they never explained why in the world they had to interview that girl at the end from Russia about that bacteria water thing. How does that relate with the whole story???
I loved the entire drama but that ending made me have to dock down from a perfect 10/10 to a 9.5/10. It was too rushed. They could have done 1 more episode of just reconciliation. WE DIDN'T EVEN SEE KIM MOO SHIK AND THE ELDER AND THAT DARN SECRETARY GO TO JAIL. OR RECEIVE SOME SORT OF DEATH SENTENCE. LIKE I KNOW IT IS IMPLIED, BUT I WANT TO SEE THE BAD GUYS SUFFER AT LEAST THE SAME AMOUNT THAT WE SAW THE MAIN LEADS SUFFER. Also, was kind of surprised that Kim Moon Ho's first love wasn't Oh Ji An/Chae Young Shin. Kind of disappointed that his first love was not revealed. Him getting together with Kang Min Jae was also rushed. Overall, I love the drama, but I HATE HOW THEY WRAPPED IT UP.
I have always seen her as moms in dramas but I finally see her in a completely different role in Healer and I was like shocked. I was like, is this the same ahjumma I know and love? That is how good her acting is. Her role as hacker is LITERALLY one of my favorite characters in kdrama history.
I am quite disappointed...maybe because my expectations were too high because I loved Go Back Couple and expected this one to be good because same writer, but this drama is a lot less exciting and funny than Go Back Couple. It is just not pulling at my heart strings the way Go Back Couple did. On episode 3 but don't know if I should continue.....
Thought this would be another one of those overrated dramas like DOTS and the synopsis wasn't that appealing so I tried this drama with no expectations... and here I am, binged it in 2 days, and replaying the osts a billion times. There is a REASON why this drama is so ICONIC. Crash Landing On You was the first drama I watched from this writer and really loved it, and now after watching You Who Came from The Stars, I can see similarities between the two. BOTH ARE ICONIC. BUT something about this is just iconic on a whole other level. It just SCREAMS "CLASSIC." It has already become a classic in my opinion.
should I watch this? Just finished You who came from the stars. so still not over you who came from the stars so probably shouldn't start this one anytime soon but just asking, Is Legend of the Blue Sea similar to you who came from the stars?
but at the moment, I don't feel any emotional connection to them. This drama is not focusing enough on the main characters but more on the supporting characters which I don't like. I actually want romance between the friends, that was also Reply's specialty. Creating heart wrenching love triangles, they were my favorite. Basically, I am getting bored of this drama.
