Rewatching this web drama during quarantine. Best high school web drama out there. It is one of a kind. Not the same old romancey stuff. Best osts for a webdrama also. This cast is my all time fave. They are all so talented and I am so glad to see a lot of them in hit dramas now.
Ok I am still going to watch this drama BUT I really hate how dramas make two characters meet in some "foreign" "away from home" place and have a really nice exciting fluffy first two episodes that captivates us, but as soon as they go back to "normal everyday life" the fireworks and fluff kind of dies... (I felt this with Encounter and Chocolate, both were good dramas, but the magic kind of died after first few episodes).
Rewatching this drama during quarantine... The first episode was legendary (if you know you know). This was the gateway drama for me that has now got me stuck in the korean drama world. Love this drama to death. It holds a special place in my heart. Yes, it is cliche, Yes it is draggy, Yes, it could have been better, Yes you want to punch the mom, but despite all that, it is still a really good staple rom com.
Loved her in Encounter, Hospital Playlist, and now Mystic Pop Up Bar. She is killing it with every single role. I hope she gets more and more bigger roles!
I freaking love her. Finally she is getting some recognition. She deserves so much more recognition! She was stunning in CLOY but I am LOVING her in Dinner Mate. I finally get to see her as the main main lead role with a love interest that hopefully won't die.
omg I am such a fan of Seo Ji Hye after CLOY but I didn't expect to LOVE THIS DRAMA SO MUCH RIGHT OFF THE BAT. This is FREAKING GOOD. like WOAH. I didn't expect it to be bad, but not THIS GOOD. This is way better than ANY of the airing dramas right now. I really needed some sort of rom com. There have been wayyyy too much melos this year. This is WAYYY better than the overrated King of Eternal Monarch.
Ep 3 and 4 were hilairious. I was unsure if I liked it after the first 2 episodes, but now I definitely like it. I laughed so much. This drama reminds me a lot of Hotel Del Luna, but in my opinion is A LOT better than Hotel Del Luna. The storyline is way better, and a lot less draggy.

for me While You Were Sleeping. Probably because I felt like he had better chemistry with Suzy and I just loved the entire cast much better. The Osts too! And the storyline was more interesting for me than I hear your voice.
okay, it's official, Lee Sang Yeob is the official scene stealer. I wish he appeared more often. He is so adorable in this drama. I was only used to see his villainous bad guy side in While you were sleeping but he is sooooo cuteeeee in a nice guy role (at least nice guy for right now ;))
Such a hardworking and underrated actor. He has been in so much dramas but he really needs his breakthrough drama like Han So Hee had hers in World of the Married. Chaebal. This actor is so talented. Loved him While You Were Sleeping and now Good Casting.

It started off solid but it has gotten a lot more draggy the past few episodes which probably explains the decrease. You can try it, but yes I was a bit disappointed as it started to drag and when we see less and less of the younger couple.
A drama that I started because too bored during quarantine, but honestly is overhyped and overrated in my opinion. Dramas with the same rating like While you Were Sleeping and you Who came from the Stars or Strong Woman Do Bong Soon are much more worth my time and much more addicting and heart fluttering.
I finished this drama despite wanting to drop it many times. I am part of the 5% that did not enjoy it and think it is overrated. I mean yes, there were some parts that were nice, but overall this was a poorly executed drama with an interesting premise. This story could have been done SOOO much better. Yes, the osts are good. Yes, the acting is phenomenal. Yes, the quality is top notch. But honestly I am one of those people that did not feel any chemistry between the main leads. I loved the second couple way more between Ji Hyun Joong and Yu Na. Definitely overhype but still worth a watch if you are fantasy fan. Personally I can't deal with too much fantasy. A bit of fantasy like You who came from the stars is okay, but I needed more romance. The main couple's romance felt wayyy too forced. I didn't connect with it. It did not make my heart flutter like most couples do. Maybe because I first saw IU in Moon Lovers and loved her chemistry with Lee Joong Gi and Kang Ha Neul. Sadly I won't be rewatching this drama.
