Im in the middle of Episode 2 and not really into it so far, should i continue or leave it here?
I felt the exact same. I only continued it because of IU. Her acting is phenomenal and I love everything about her character. I kind of dragged my feet to watch what happened between her and the second male lead.
I'm seeing some mix reviews in the comments. Is this drama worth the watch? I love the other dramas the scriptwriters…
I agree that there are many mezmerising aspects of this show which kept me watching, but ultimately I did not like the storyline at all. I only kept on watching because of IU, the second male lead, the "historical" story plot, the supporting cast, and the beautiful aesthetics of everything, and osts. I honestly didn't love the majority of the modern story plot. But I would still recommend you to give it a try. Since I know a lot of people think a lot differently from me. It honestly is a bit of a hit or miss.
Those who are fans of this show, and really liked Song Ji Eun, she has a youtube channel, and she just released a mini album! It's really good: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCf9V1z6h8OTwzRHivXo85pQ So excited that she is back, even though it is not a new drama.
those people who are only watching the super hyped dramas like it's okay to not be okay are really missing out on a true gem here. (nothing against it's okay to not be okay, just stating some facts)
Overall, I'm really enjoying this show so far. The only thing is...and I hate to say it, Noh Ae Jung is very unattractive…
yup I agree with that. So far I really like the different personalities of all 4 guys but Noh Ae Jung turns me off the most. I personally don't like her acting style but it also just can be the character that the writers created that is not attractive.
watching an ongoing drama has been hard and have made me want to drop this a lot of times but OMG EPISODE 6 WAS FIRE. I THINK I AM GOING TO KEEP ON WATCHING IT. Also, end of episode 6, SON HO JUN, DO NOT LOOK AT THE CAMERA LIKE THAT, I CAN'T HANDLE IT.
Despite all the pain this family has gone through together, and hurt each other in ways I can't even imagine, they are still a family. I love that. This drama so beautifully portrays what forgiveness can do and what true love means.
So glad I started this drama afte some hesitation. Best family drama I have seen since reply 1988 hands down. So heartwarming, and each character grows on you. Usually in dramas there is a villain or someone whom you hate or is annoyed by, but in this drama it is different. This drama is so realistic in that it portrays just normal people who are not the extremes like most kdrama cliches, not people who are super rich nor super poor nor have some crazy personality. They are just human and they make a beautiful unfamiliar family.
Hey guys, I watched the first 2 episodes and found them rather boring. Does it get better? or do you suggest maybe…
yes many people felt that way. I also felt it was a bit boring at the beginning since they are kind of setting the story up and they just kind of throw you into the story. But I trusted in the writer and director of the reply series so I kept on watching and I didn't regret it one bit. But if you don't like slice of life dramas where each episode kind of builds on the previous episodes and where you explore how their relationships deepen, this drama may not be for you.
yes! you should still give it a try despite the huge rating drop. Especially if you are a fan of seo ji hye after CLOY. I loved seeing her in a completely different role.
That's alright, at least you didn't judge before giving it a go. I hope you find a drama of your preference real…
mhm yeah definitely agree on that part! The two actors in the younger versions could have definitely pulled off the older versions. But the movie still brought me to tears in the end despite that. It was soooo good.
So excited that she is back, even though it is not a new drama.
and is making a music comeback on July 26th!
And also her new album is coming out July 26th!!!!!
