is it just me, or is this kind of dragging? I had high expectations for this one but honestly the cast is not bringing much depth into this story. Like I loved A Teen because you could honestly relate to the characters and feel for them. Right now, this drama just feels like a bunch of college students that are conflicting over petty things. I honestly don't really like any of the characters. they are all annoying in their own ways

Loved her debut drama Reset Life and also her role in Lovely Us. She knows how to choose her dramas.

Well right now it is because she announced that she would be taking a slight hiatus to recover from an injury she had.

ummm excuse me, why is this dude not getting MORE main roles. He just needs ONE breakout role and I bet he will be more popular than any of the young actors out there.

it is pretty depressing but don't worry, the writer does a good job tying things up neatly. There will be good things and happy things ahead.

Would it be accurate for me to say that this drama is made for a more mature and older audience who has experienced a bit more of life? Because I see in the stats that majority of the viewers are 18 and above. And I am in the category of 13-17 years old and I just can't get into it. It just seems wayyyy tooo depressing and monotonous and boring.

So far this has been the most well crafted romance melo since I don't even remember. I watched this drama only because I was so bored and there has been no kdramas that I have liked recently and had nothing to watch, but after watching the first 4 episodes, you bet I am HOOKED and INVESTED.

actually a little suprised by this drama because I came in with high expectations obviously because of the stellar cast and also because I thought it would be a much more friendship and romance focused drama instead of family...which isn't bad, just wasn't what I was expecting. Also this gives similar yet very different vibes from the previous drama the scriptwriter wrote, temp of love. Temp of Love was very fast paced in the beginning and then started draggin at the end which I don't mind as much, but Record of youth is surprisingly and painstakingly slow right now. I hope this drama picks up the pace, but from the preview, it doesn't look like it. I have no idea where the storyline is going either. Are we going to see everything that happens the month before Hye Jun goes to the army? or are we going to get a time jump? Just some thoughts.

if you loved her in oh my venus, I would suggest you watch her in my girlfriend is a gumiho. I loved her acting and aegyo in that one :)

hmmm I actually think reply 1988 first. Both are really good, but reply 1988 is a bit more slow paced but has MUCH more depth, so I feel like if you watched this drama first and then reply 1988, you will feel like reply 1988 is too boring and slow paced compared to this one EVEN though reply 1988 is PHENOMENAL and a few points better than this one.

I guess since they are all musicians, they kind of just know each other since they work in the same field? I don't know, I probably missed something too...

yes they do break up, but not because of Jung woo. They break up for another reason which is a more reasonable reason in my opinion. I would still suggest you continue watching it. I personally still loved it till the end.

is it just me or does the main guy lead have really parched and weird lips? it looks so swollen like he got stung by a bee or something...not trying to be mean or anything about his looks, just genuinely worried about why his lips are like that

no so apparently only the chinese websites will change them to 46 but youtube and viki will still keep it at 40 episodes.but I may be wrong because I saw this in someone else's comment

no there techincally isn't. some other comment down below has already explained it. basically the chinese broadcasting station just wants to make episodes shorter and spread the airing time longer since this drama is getting really high viewership ratings or whatever. so there is still only the same 40 episode content. they just made some episodes shorter so they can air for more days.

if you like family oriented stories, you should definitely watch it! definitely unique compared to other coming of age romance chinese dramas

is it weird that I thought this would be a flop but after the first two episodes, it is suprisingly good and the first korean drama I have liked since hospital playlist ended? ugh I wish I waited to watch this after more episodes came out. it is suprisingly addicting.
