Thank you 🫶 I've been a fan of hers since Jeongnyeon and The Guest. I really like both her detective characters, they're so strong and independent and at the same time are ppl with their own complexities.

I loved that speech. It shows her conviction for justice and her motivations. I really hope we get more such moments going forward with the sculptor's case as well. I also love her action scenes, especially pulling Yi-soo and jumping off the roof during the explosion

Soulmate is tolerable because the movie doesn't try to make either of the female leads the villain or the perfect lead. Both of them are flawed in their own ways and go through their processes of healing and maturing, and ultimately come to realize that their friendship is more valuable than anything else unlike this show which throws the friendship away over this boring ML

That's the key thing that makes JH a more interesting and well realized character, that she is aware of her flaws as opposed YR's constant glorification.

SYE's acting abilities are brilliant. As someone who enjoys watching her I just wish she would choose projects that do justice to her talent

So true about 2521. It was a great ending, however sad, because that is what life is. It handles the first love trope much more maturely than this drama does, because in this half the logic behind the ML and FL getting together is 'he's my first love' that's not a good reason, most ppl don't end up with their first love and their lives go on. And like in 2521, that doesn't make the love any less important. It just means that love isn't the only thing in the world and sometimes we can't control everything.

JH literally has ONE person who cares for her and is there for her when she needs comfort and solace. That's why she goes to him, it's not timepass. Unlike Young-rye, she doesn't have friends or family or anyone who genuinely looks out for her except Young-sik, and she's someone who's entire life has been defined by trauma and pain. No wonder she goes to him.

Developed where, apart from that 1 minute montage? It literally took place during the timeskip with no explanation of why and how

Achieved her dream to become Ms. Korea only for it to again become about Young-rye cos the writers couldn't stand JH having even one moment of glory lol

So true and to make it worse Jonghee left because she was protecting Youngrye. Imagine leaving to protect your friend only for her to date the man you loved and who loved you.

Jonghee was reduced to long suffering victim in the second half. So much wasted potential

JEC excels at portraying detectives who are practical to a fault and have a hard edge to them but are fundamentally good people with a soft side for those they care about. First in The Guest and now here too

I was hoping for more insight into Hye-ra's backstory, it seems like we will get something. I liked this case too, it did keep me guessing and there was a genuine suspense. Very excited now for the upcoming eps, it's going to be so damn hard to wait the week out

It reminded me of that too lol, with everyone going crazy, only diff I'd say that IU didn't really do/say anything negative or encourage it thankfully unlike Yurim who was being a sore loser about it and not even apologizing. She was lucky Heedo was head over heels for her

Hmmm didn't notice that, I just thought it was to show that she did have a soft side apart from being the practical workaholic. But it could be the case
