Episode 05 was a PIECE OF SHIT. I ask: Which policeman, seeing people who are apparently fainted, do not put your finger on their wrists to know if they are still alive? The policeman arrives at the scene and begins to cry without even knowing if people are indeed dead. Ridiculous.
What nonsense. It's not a soap opera - it's a mystery/suspense drama, dear.
Yeah, I see it now. "Telenovela" is different from "soap opera". I wrote thinking about the Latin American style. I should have used the term "telenovela" for Return.

Let me make it clear: when I say "soap opera", I mean about style of composition, with an open script that can be interfered with by public opinion. Usually these works have text and plot more simplified. It does not necessarily have romantic points. I'm Brazilian and I realized immediately this soap opera (telenovella) way in it (I hadn't yet seen a k-drama like that). In Brazil, it's called "telenovela", but I don't know if the expression "soap opera" has other meanings. I don't think all k-dramas I've seen like soap operas. Only this one reminded me of soap operas.
I'm not sure what dramas you've been watching, but South Korean officers do have guns. Don't forget the main guys…
1 handgun?? Only 1 handgun? Confront a powerful mafia without 1 handgun in hand? Look the death of Joo Jae Pil. If one of them had a gun at the time, the result might not be the same. I remember some scenes from Tunnel and Signal. Instead of the policeman aiming a simple handgun, they prefer to run a race with the bad guy. Ridiculous.

The text is poor. I noticed this in the first episode. You know, I'm from Brazil and here soap operas are constant. The episodes are shorter and this is an indicative. It would not work with a longer episode. And I read a news that they're still filming while it's being aired, something common soap operas. I bet the script will suffer with public opinion.
I like how the Korean police don't need guns, apparently. In several shows I've seen, neither knives are carrying by their cops. Everything in fists...
It's incredible how they portray the incompetence of the Korean police. There are things that happen in these dramas that are bizarre. Not only in this drama.
where is the news about?
