Tae Joo's fall was silly. After all, he had every reason to be suspicious of Woo Kyung's real intentions. Besides having a direct connection with the police, he knew her well enough to know that was difficult to lose herself. The probability of a trap was very high and obvious. I can't accept a smart guy as he falls that way.

It is based on a real case and drug (it's a brazilian drug called flakka, aka the zombie drug). In 2012, a naked…
Yeah, but the "way" they did not fit it well in this proposal. It was a very supernatural mood for this show. Only my feeling.

Actually, they are still making 2 one hour broadcasts per week just like they always have. We still get an hour…
Misty was good and shocking.

Yeah, family dramas are more like this. I see more action and investigation dramas, so I'm little used to it. Where I live this kind of show constantly passes on TV. They use a typical TV cinematograph, so this gives me a bad impression right away. Is it still filming? If so, no one will know how the story will end. I was going to see it because I love these two actresses, but I dropped. Anyway, good fun to you on this!

I'm talking about production quality. It looks clearly from a smaller budget. Another thing I realized: this kind of show seems to have the script open, like "Return", which was still being filmed when transmission began. The story changes according to people reception. This is common in television soap operas.

I see but, in my little knowledge about this format, it's curious. These shows are very similar each other and very different with those don't have this 30-minutes separation. These shows don't use "movie effect" in video, for example (I don't know the technical term in English). Very similar to old analog TV shows.

This is the second 30-minute show that I did not liked. But I see now. It seems that the Korean shows with 30-minute episodes were made in a format similar to Latin American telenovelas (television soap operas).

Is this procedural? Like there's a different case every episode?
No. It's a case throughout the episodes.

Title Cruel City
This series has a problem: it does not know how to organize the episode to end with a cliffhanger. The episodes end in anticlimax.

Most gang related Korean movies I've seen use knives instead of guns. But the police do use guns.
Well, I've seen very few cops and thugs with guns in theses korean shows. It seems like it's better to chase with a stick than to aim a gun. The guns illegal trade in Korea must be very restricted.
