A Show That Needed a Better Editor
The showrunners could have handled the story arcs far better. A more linear edit would’ve helped viewers fully immerse themselves in each cast member’s background. Instead, the editing feels scattered and erratic—so much so that it pulls you out of the experience. At times, it feels less like watching a show and more like being thrown into an editing room, sifting through raw footage in search of a “moment.” The flow simply doesn’t work.
Having watched most dating shows from China and South Korea—and recently exploring Japanese ones—this was a letdown. The only reason I rated it a 7.0 is because it’s a Japanese production, where my expectations are admittedly lower. If this OUTPUT were somehow actually produced by China or Korea, it would’ve landed closer to a 5.0 or 6.0.
