If you are a romance seeker, look no further. Watch this series right now for Eddie Peng who slayed it in his role. The flirting game was really strong with the main leads. Also, those who in the reviews said they had second lead syndrome in this series, no offence, but you guys must find watching paint dry on walls also very fascinating.
I like zombies, Park Hyung Sik and Han Hyo Joo. However, together they are not 1+1=3 that I was hoping for. - The zombie story has massive plot loop holes. I couldn't keep my plot immersion experience due to it - The main leads plot situation had potential to make for a great background romance story. However, they lacked personal chemistry. Not for one moment could Park Hyung Sik convince me that he meant it when he said he will kill anyone who hurts the FL. He just lacked that intensity. There were no sparks on screen for the main leads. Still if you are a sucker like me for zombie series, its worth one time watch.
This 8+ MDL rating is dead wrong. Every character is a hammy version of the stereotype they are trying to present: Ooh...I am a Badass, ooh...I am a psychopath. Well you are not, more like a parody. Saw 4 episodes hoping that it gets better. It did not. Dropped it.
If anyone is still confused about whether to watch it or not inspite of the comments or the MDL rating, don't be. Watch it. This is one of the rare instances where a sky high MDL rating is absolutely justified. One of the best ever slow-burn romances. And not just 1, but 2 equally compelling slow burn romances at that.
Okay one-time watch. It has a lot of decent kisses. Pain points: - How on earth is the main FL any less pretty than the second FL? Folks will stop the elevator for the 2FL and not the main FL? Really? - The ML's acting is so insipid compared to the FL's acting - Towards the end, I got way more invested in Kim Ji Suk's (the lawyer friend) acting and his love story. So in the last 3 episodes, I just skipped ahead to watch only his parts.
The rating of 8+ let me down here. a) I like my MLs good looking. Here not a single ML was good looking enough for me. b) The main love story was boring, primarily because of main FL's mediocre-as-hell acting. c) I did like the Yo On and Ma ae ri love story but hated the fact they could not build that more onscreen given the major age gap. Would have liked to see their kisses.
