just finished this drama and completely agree with you. I really loved the first 2/3 of the drama. they really should’ve ended it after the defeat of Lord Liang. I only finished it to see more of Bai Jing Ting. My rating is for the first 2/3 of the drama
No matter how hard I try, I just can’t help but come here every day and read the spoilers. I don’t have YouKu subscription and Viki in my country is really behind on the episodes. I stopped watching after ep4 and am waiting for all the episodes to be available on Viki.

100% agree. Also, let’s not forget that the fl had loved her ex husband deeply and was cruelly betrayed by him. It would feel very superficial and even a little manipulative (especially to the sharp ml) if she were to fall for someone else so quickly
