At first I wasn't sure if this drama is for me because the fighting sequence was really too turn off for me and I haven't got used to the chemistry between the lead actor/actress. I skimp through a few episodes until I put more concentration in ep. 9 onwards. Now I'm hooked and going back to those earlier episodes that I've skimped

This drama is not bad just too many unnecessary love scenes which isn't very interesting. Should have cut down to 20 episodes. The casts performance is good, just the script did not do justice to their abilities.

I guess you simply don't like sweet/ cute girls category, well it's your loss. I have never been disappointed by Lusi acting other than the script

Sorry I've to disagree with you on the pairing of Xu Kai and Li Yitong as I don't find any chemistry between them. Overall I like this drama dispite the many flaws.

I really started to enjoy this drama after 30 episodes, as the suspense is building up nicely. Yes, although there are many flaws along the way I still find this drama very watchable. I couldn't care less about the romance between the ML & FL because I don't find any chemistry between them in the first place, in fact I find more chemistry between Fu Rou and Prince Zhou.

Yes, the FL dumb expression irritates me after a while, the storyline is good just couldn't stand watching the ML&FL

Contrary to what many people have given this drama a good rating, for me the ML & FL is a let down.

After completing this drama, I wasn't impress with the overall drama. Too many flaws, acting of main FL was pretty good at start but towards the end, her acting just not match the strong character she supposed to portray. I think a fair rating for this drama would be an 8. Many would disagree but this is my honest assessment with no love or hate for any of the actors

One of my favorite actress, like most of her dramas. Although she not very pretty, I find she got great acting abilities . I believe she has many haters but I couldn't careless. I'm more interested in enjoying a good dramas rather than their personal lives or gossips. I think this drama has potential and hopefully it's good.

Agree, the actresses are on good terms with one another but some of their fans are simply too much. I hate it when they criticised without justification.

Lol, comments are getting more toxic, was waiting and curious who will fire the first salvo as I can feel trouble brewing. Well it keep everyone entertain while waiting for episodes 19 & 20. Both actress are good, just that some fanatics are discrediting the actresses acting even when they are good. Luckily it is not 2 heavy weight actress, I can't imagine what will happen if Dilraba and Yangzi were in the same drama.

Contrary to your explanation, antis actually helps the drama 1) it helps that if the drama is lowly rated it's because of antis interference. 2) it also encourage people who don't like the drama to give higher rating in the hope of earning some money 3) even if they are given 200 yuan for downgrading, after collecting the money they can change back the rating again as it's not legally binding. Actually this so call antis could be the work of the fans themselves.

Same with me, I'm more interested in the second couple. Their air time is so limited. Frankly if the producer did not create this Princess Le Yan character, I would not have watched this drama.

Well it's the makeup artist and producer fault. As for Dilraba, she has played the role quite well.

Yes, I didn't like Dilraba in ELOD, she was one of worst male impersonator I have ever seen, but here I have to admit she is doing ok.

Zhao Lusi can act other roles but I guess most producer like her sweet looks and simply prefer her in that style. In fact Dilraba acting wasn't great in some of roles she have acted in the past, though as Changge she is ok.
