One of my favourite artistic mystery thrillers, the cinematography & build-up was really well done. Acting was exceptional, watched this for Go Min Si but stayed for the intriguing storytelling. Lots of symbolism too. I'd agree with some characters having some questionable choices, but nevertheless enjoyed the show!
The comedy & mystery was done alright (i gasped when the killer was revealed), though i feel like the drama kept dragging on the mystery plot line at the second half towards the end which made watching the drama more of a chore to me. I even kept skipping scenes towards the end (Not to mention the underwhelming arrest of the killer, plus his unnecessary last attempt to escape) Nevertheless i finished watching it (took me three months), liked their acting & love all the characters! The ending was a bit rushed & quite random but I didn’t mind i guess, the actors did really well
The plot was actually unpredictable for me throughout the whole show, they kept adverting my expectations so much I was baffled. This actually kept me watching due to wondering what might happen, and I'm so glad I stuck around. Entertaining indeed! Cast was talented that's for sure. I didn't really feel the MLs' chemistry(felt forced tbh) but in the end they looked cute. I really love Hyeri but felt like she was underwhelming at some times.
And is it just me or does every scene shift so fast...like rn will be a sad moment with sad music then 0.1 seconds later its a funny scene- like what is up with the transitions, it happens a lot too. Felt rushed but also felt like the pacing was entertaining enough.
Loved all the characters but fave characters are: Crown Prince's mom(she was sooo funny lmao), the Queen(her PRESENCE), Un Sim(also her PRESENCE), the lady and the son with the guns!!!!(too iconic & absolutely loved them) & my boi Gye Sang Mok(hated him at first but loved him in the end).
Watched people hyped about it, especially my friend. Thankfully I knew most of the cast so I said why not. I decided to watch it with no expectations, did NOT expect to cry buckets T - T. This was a good drama, I understand the hype now.
Enjoyed this a lot! Paced well that I didn't realise it was reaching the end lol. Loved the acting, action scenes, characters and everything else!!!~~ Enters my favourite kdramas list.
Apparently the screenwriter was changed around Episode 11, and I guess it kinda makes sense since the show noticeably started to shift by then.
Nevertheless I'm still satisfied by the outcome so I'd definitely recommend to watch this 10/10!
Glad I watched it despite the ratings, it was worth watching! Plot, acting, suspense was superb! Ending wasn't the best but overall really enjoyed the experience. Had elements similar to Sweet Home which I also enjoyed.
This felt like a really long movie, lol. Really enjoyed watching this, a good show overall and would recommend to watch! Pacing was quite nice too. Shoutout to the dogs!!! They won my heart <3
A good action movie to watch, this was more of a spin-off to TTB rather than a sequel since it did take place after TTB but it's not about the same characters. Nevertheless enjoyed it a lot.
