Title Call It Love
No time jump. They didn’t hold fairs in 2020 because of pandemic. Some previous episode had a passing mention…
My bad. I assumed that’s why they replaced it.

Title Call It Love
I think i missed something . Was there a time lapse from 2019 to 2022? Like do they meet after 3 yrs?
No time jump. They didn’t hold fairs in 2020 because of pandemic. Some previous episode had a passing mention of Covid-19. So fair to assume that 2022 is the recent poster to replace the last fair.

why is consent and privacy an alien concept in lakorns? Genuinely curious. Friends and family are so keen on updates of sex lives of the main leads, its jarring. And consent was always a problem for male leads in any lakorn. But now I'm curious as to how people receive the content. I keep watching lakorns despite it all but its just a thunderbolt to my understanding.

Do you mind telling me why Kanzo killed Ryo's father. I'm curious as heck lol.
Ryo’s father was a myrderer. Kanzo, at the time, was an inexperienced cop who shot him in his house with the kids present out of nervousness.

Title Roy Leh Sanae Rai Spoiler
Possible spoilers ahead:
Is everyone in this drama absolutely delusional!???Even before I saw this drama, I knew logic wasnt going to be the main driver of the show (heard the male lead was decent at acting and a possible eye candy)but oh my god, what is up with the characters?! Apart from platitudes of I love you and I hate you and divorce me, there’s little dialogue or emotion. Sure say I love you endless times after forcing a woman (rape or not) to convey just how much you want the lady. And sure let the lady escape every single time before this idiot makes her a hostage again just for her to get confused between kindness of the perp and his violence and oppression. And I dont even know what the deal with the two catfighting side characters was. What was the issue there? But in all honesty, do I even want to know? Guess not.

It reminds me of cheese in the trap story with just baek in ho and hong seol. Also with slightly darker undertones.

if you are looking for bulletproof logic, maybe look a bit further. But just because logic isnt its strongest suit doesnt mean its not damn entertaining! The main leads were pretty brilliant acting wise. Story became addictive despite its predictability and in parallel universe you kinda relate to some characters. Personally, Jee as a character was amazing. I like strong female characters...Stoic, bitchy, headstrong. She gave as good as she got when it came to the people she didnt care about but her golden heart melts for people she values. right balance of iciness and vulnerability in a character. Also it didnt hurt that the actress was supergood in her role!

I tried to give this one a fair chance by watching 4 episodes. But sadly it doesnt just click. Actors are decent…
Racial bias has nothing to do with the show! At any rate, if it were to be stereotypical, its more believable that an asian can hack the entire computer system. But thats not the point. Its just take a very nimble mind to take leaps in lapse of logic in this one.

Title Criminal Minds Spoiler
I tried to give this one a fair chance by watching 4 episodes. But sadly it doesnt just click. Actors are decent but the writing is terrible. It feels disconnected. the problem with the series is not predictability. Yyou can pretty much guess with 80% certainty who the criminal is but that in itself isnt the problem if the process of uncovering the truth is decent. I think the writer has mistaken blood and gore for quality writing. Blood and gore is not a problem either. Its just the each episode has some glaring disconnect between characters and the situation. For example: Ha Sun Wo convincing the chief to not kill the serial killer...He had just seen his wife brutally murdered. why is he going to listen to you unless you physically restrain him? And Kim Hyun Joon talking to the kids? the Kids saw their parents murdered and talked to the serial killer. Its not much to assume that they are going to traumatized and not magically recollecta few days later that the killer smelled of peppermint! Its fair to assume a lifetime of trauma for the kids.
Its just too many leaps and assumptions of rational thought in a crime drama. Had to drop this one.
