It was Dou Zhao that made him take imperial exams. He is ambitious and eager to be the prime minister. He has been genius himself, that's why he is infatuated with Dou Zhao whom he thinks equal to him. He is not a bad guy, esp near the end where he keeps reminding her to stay away from politics and protect herself. He hates Song Mo until the end though.

I believe this is the happy ending scene! Look at her hairdo. Usually for women who have reached their 30s.

Song Han is one of the villains even on the book bcos he is the exact copy of Song Yichun. His story with Miao Ansu is also written on the book. Ansu is NOT a villain, she is a victim. Soon she will realize and vents her hatred to Song Han👍🏻bcos in one scene she will stab him. The only difference is Song Yichun is still alive until the end on the book.

On the novel, Ji Yong is more annoying. He can harm and hurt people with a smile and proud in his eyes. He looks down on other people except himself and Dou Zhao. He once sold Dou Ming to human traffickers, and it traumatized her. He also threatened Dou Ming to seduce Wei Tingyu. He then schemed to frame and harm Wei Tingyu and felt satisfied, thinking Dou Zhao would be grateful. He showed no remorse when Dou Zhao confronted him. He works for the crown prince and helos suppress the rebels with Song Mo. Ji Yong isn't evil, he is just narcissistic. He always thinks what he did is right. Idk why they made him as the villain in the drama 🤦‍♀️ I still hope it was just an act to trap Prince Qing.

It is understandable if we can't tell the differences 😭 I'm still confuse too. All I can say is they have different personalities.
For the twin maids, Suxin is the big sister, calm, composed, mature, has a deeper and slightly husky voice, slightly taller I guess. Sulan is younger, a little bratty and blunt, a bit boyish, with higher voice than Suxin.
For the male servants, they also have similar personalities with the maids, one loud, one calm. Someone said the men are 42 y.o! Shocking! They look so young, as if 25-26!

Song Han was being locked by Song Mo. Dou Zhao threatened Song Yichun to choose between Song Han and himself, he chose to save his own face instead of his son! He then opened ancestral hall to kick Song Han out of the family registry. Out of anger, Song Han bit Song Yichun's neck to bleed, causing him unable to speak for the rest of his life, even gets bedridden 😆 Good punishment for both!

It takes time to edit and wait for reviews. They might need to re-edit. However I saw someone posted on weibo that the drama might air in summer 2025.

Congratulations on finishing the novel! I have read it 3 times bcos it is so good 😭 I love the dynamics between the leads. Tsundere ML with coquettish FL. Sadly my fave characters: Qian Baimei and Xu Yangui don't exist in the drama 😭😭😭

At first I ignored Su Yan although knowing she is the villain. But from ep 27 onwards, I really want to chop her head 😡 This original character is so annoying! She keeps using excuse "imperial this, imperial that, etiquette this, etiquette that". Eat it yourself then! Maybe you'll become the empress after you eat etiquette 😡

Even on the novel the main couple always remain strong, united and loving. There is never a moment of misunderstanding or doubt bcos they grow together and live as parents after they have a son.

There is a scene where she stabs him. Perhaps she finally realized Song Han is evil and he has been using her.

Ansu realized real quick that there is a feud between the brothers and she decided to stay away. She also found out Song Han is a total jerk, cruel and penniless. Ansu then seeks help from Dou Zhao. She also helps Song Mo after finding out Song Han, his father and Prince Qing schemed to frame Song Mo of misconduct. Thanks to Dou Zhao, Ansu successfully divorced Song Han. Song Han doesn't die on the novel, he gets exiled after committing the last crime...

The one who will die is Song Han, but I really wish Ansu will realize real soon that Song Han is evil and doesn't deserve her.

If the drama follows the book, then Song Han will work with Prince Qing to rebel. Fifth uncle is also a rebel, so all the rebels will be punished.

There is no poison issue on the novel.
The novel is very happy and most characters have happy ending, esp our couple ❤
Also i already shared something i remembered on the comment below that the poison will most likely be cured bcos Song Mo is seen having a picnic with Dou Zhao in her older woman setup, both wearing light blue hanfu.

He helps subduing the rebels bcos he works for crown prince, although he still has the time to mock Song Mo 😅

No way! All the couples, except Song Han and Miao Ansu are happily married, including Gu Yu. Reading the novel made me smile 🤭

Song Han is indeed one of the villains on the novel too. He knew his father poisoned Madam Jiang, so he helped poisoned her too after he found out she is not his mother. He wanted to be this good brother of Song Mo. What he did on the novel is really cruel, disgusting and he is a total jerk, just like his father. That's why Miao Ansu begged Dou Zhao to help her get divorce.

There is a scene where ZhaoMo, wearing the same light blue hanfu, are having a picnic in a field. Dou Zhao has the extra low bun. From what I understand, this low bun is for women who are not young anymore, after they reach their 30s. Just like Dou Zhao on ep 1 where it is said she married Wei Tingyu for 10 years? Also Wang Yingxue and Wei Tingzhen also have low bun. So that means this scene will happen years later after they have kids! 🤔
