And guess what? That's literally the same thing with me too.
And about "setting a rule" for being a fan, just read the comment you made and you'll see who actually started setting one, right?
You say you've been around for years even though this account is new, and I have the same explanation. But when you give that reason, it's valid, and when I give the exact same reason, suddenly I'm lying? What a double standard.
So if you're not calling yourself a liar, don't call me one either.
Yeah... don't judge people so easily.

Awww... really, dear?? I've seen you saying you're a veteran in C-dramas and have watched nearly 500 dramas, yet I haven't seen you do half the things you're demanding from me. And I can also see this account of yours was made just 2 months back, so by your own logic, does that erase everything before that?
And if I remember correctly, in one of your replies you literally said you're not a fan of Neo, you just like him. So how about that, dear?
I think I'm not the one caught red-handed here. Watching all his dramas and interviews is supporting an actor. I don't need to make public declarations or leave comments everywhere to prove it.
So maybe think of something new instead of calling everyone a liar because they don't fit your definition of a fan. Okay??

Bruhhh... this is literally my old account. If you'd actually gone through its timeline, you'd know that. And yes, I have two accounts.
Calling me a liar doesn't make sense. We've never even had a conversation about me liking Neo. It's always been you hating on Esther and me defending her.
And wdym I "only like him"? I've literally watched all his dramas and interviews. That's a way of supporting an actor. I don't need to prove it by arguing on every platform, especially when Weibo is literally banned in my country.

I think you’re deliberately conflating criticism of a specific situation with hatred toward Neo as a person, and then building an entire narrative around things I never said.
First, let’s make this very simple: I have never criticized Neo’s acting, talent, work, appearance, career, or achievements. My comments were about this particular project, the agency’s decision surrounding it, and, most importantly, the behaviour of a section of his fandom toward Esther after he joined.
In fact, when I criticized anything related to Neo, I was criticizing the agency and its decision, not Neo himself. And criticizing an agency’s decisions is hardly some outrageous attack on Neo when even his own fandom does exactly that whenever they disagree with his agency. If you can understand that distinction when his fans make the criticism, you should be able to understand it when I do.
I mentioned Neo’s level of recognition in the context of the discussion, but nowhere did I say that he had no previous success or that he achieved nothing on his own. I was talking about the timeline and level of recognition, particularly in comparison with Esther already being an established name. You can disagree with my assessment, but you cannot rewrite it into “she thinks Neo is talentless” or “she wants to diminish his achievements.”
And regarding my saying I wished he hadn’t joined the drama: I was talking about this particular project and the situation that followed it. I was NOT criticizing Neo’s current work, his career, or whatever projects he is working on now. There is a very obvious difference between questioning someone’s involvement in one particular project and criticizing everything that person does.
The main thing I actually voiced was what happened to Esther after Neo joined and a toxic section of his fandom started constantly attacking her. That is what I have repeatedly spoken against. I have never told anyone that they have to like Esther, and I have never criticized someone simply for disliking her.
It is completely your choice whether you like Esther or not. What I have a problem with is the constant nitpicking, blaming Esther for every single thing, attacking her over everything she does, and turning every discussion into another reason to hate her. Disliking someone is one thing. Constantly searching for something to blame them for is another.
And since you keep bringing up my deleted comments, let me explain that too, because apparently you have decided to turn that into evidence of “two-facedness.”
I deleted both comments because someone from your side suddenly came into an Esther-focused community and started bragging about their own artist and his achievements when that community was clearly for Esther. It wasn't even a joint Esther–Neo community. That was the sole reason I deleted my comments. I didn't delete them because I was supposedly “caught” saying something about Neo or because I wanted to hide some attack on him.
In fact, I have never seen Esther fans going into Neo's community and randomly bragging about Esther’s achievements, work, or popularity when the space is specifically meant for him. So don't act as though I deleted my comments because I had some secret agenda. I simply didn't want to continue an unnecessary fanwar in an Esther-focused space.
And your claims about me not caring about Neo’s health, wanting him to fail, being happy that he’s overworked, wanting to diminish his achievements, etc. are simply things you have added to my words. Where exactly did I say any of that? You cannot take “I wish he hadn't joined this project” and somehow arrive at “I don't care about Neo.”
So calling me “two-faced” because I say I like both Neo and Esther while criticizing an agency decision, a particular project, and the behaviour of part of Neo's fandom is honestly ridiculous. Liking someone does not mean I have to blindly agree with everything surrounding them. I can like Neo and criticize his agency. I can like Esther and defend her against what I consider unfair treatment. Those positions are not contradictory.
If your entire argument is “you criticized Neo,” then be precise about what I actually criticized. I criticized the agency and its decision regarding this particular project, not Neo’s acting, talent, body of work, achievements, appearance, or current projects. And I criticized the behaviour of toxic fans attacking Esther.
So before calling me fake, two-faced, narcissistic, or whatever else, maybe start with the basic principle of reading what someone actually wrote instead of assigning motives to them and then arguing against those invented motives.
And honestly, the person you're defending here is behaving like a hater themselves. That is exactly the kind of behaviour that even Minghao would have every reason not to want associated with his fandom. Defending an artist does not require becoming hateful toward everyone else.
Criticism of an agency is not an attack on the actor. Criticism of a fandom’s behaviour is not hatred toward the actor. Defending Esther against constant attacks does not make me a fake Neo fan. And deleting a comment because you don't want to participate in an unnecessary fanwar in an Esther-focused community does not make you “two-faced.”
If you still can't understand those distinctions after this, then calling me “two-faced” doesn't prove anything about me, it only proves that you have chosen to argue with a version of my comments that exists in your head rather than what I actually wrote.
