a literal MASTERPIECE. I'm so glad I gave this a second chance, and it def didn't disappoint. I love how the drama's called 'beloved' because it really encompasses a variety of relationships driven by love, despite the seemingly tragic outcomes. my sweet qu tong and mu xin/xiaowei deserve the entire world and more
okay this was amazing! narita ryo did a phenomenal job w portraying saeki (loved loved loved the car scene!), and the overall story progressed quite nicely. i felt so smart when I guessed one of the culprits (there were like 5 throughout the drama lol), and the chemistry between the leads was also great!
ep 1: kazehaya proudly introducing shinno to his team...he's so bf coded
uhh okay this started off strong but ended up a disaster LOL I was just thinking to myself what if kazehaya was falsely accused and had to be interrogated by shinno and they literally did that in ep 10...i need s3 give me my kazehaya x shinno endgame NOW!!!
this was so good! i'm a sucker for synesthesia portrayal in media, and I thought this was a cool implementation of it; hopefully it evolves in the next season!
also, shinno and kazehaya were so cute haha; pls let them be endgame
it had such a strong start, but after the main twist, the subsequent ones felt forced. i do like the way how the issue of bullying was handled (and the different perspectives held by the victims), though i would've liked to see more about sho's life in the end (esp w his family)
the dating arc between yang guo and the other dude (do nawt remember his name sorry) was soo unnecessary bc it kept yu ping pining for way too long imo. the chemistry is what saved this drama otherwise i def couldn't finish it
bottom line: narita ryo supremacy
also, shinno and kazehaya were so cute haha; pls let them be endgame
