surprisingly, the romance was the weakest part of this imo, but the comedy!! oh the comedy was wonderful. i couldn't stop laughing in each of the ep's; all the characters were so endearing in their own way and truly made this drama as good as it is. i admit, i was a little sad clicking the last ep bc I didn't want to leave this world so soon, almost as if it was a dream i didn't want to wake up from hehe <3

this unfortunately read like a soap opera, effectively stripping away the integrity of the plot and writing. it's a shame that pxr and rjl gave it their all in this project, only for it to be a complete disaster

ik people have been saying that the romance was too slow, but I personally felt the pacing was perfect! qian fei's hesitance was warranted, given her past relationship, and she needed that time to truly flourish in her career before she could introduce a romantic relationship in her life. li yi fei's the greenest flag, so ofc the wait was super worth it imo! or it may be that I'm tired of the leads getting together in ep 12 for a standard 24 ep modern romance drama lol

I know shan li wasn't giving relationship advice to yi lan and xiao le when he himself was in a situationship 💀

chemistry so good that i keep rewatching every year, despite the atrocious ending. if i were one of the writers, i would take all the qiu yan and liang yi's pain, triple it, and give it to yuan lang instead

a literal MASTERPIECE. I'm so glad I gave this a second chance, and it def didn't disappoint. I love how the drama's called 'beloved' because it really encompasses a variety of relationships driven by love, despite the seemingly tragic outcomes. my sweet qu tong and mu xin/xiaowei deserve the entire world and more

lol tamaki being the general consensus for who nao should've ended up with shows he's so loved by everyone <3

2026 was SUPPOSED TO BE MY YEAR! i was not expecting to bawl my eyes out over shiraishi and aizawa not being endgame :'(

okay this was amazing! narita ryo did a phenomenal job w portraying saeki (loved loved loved the car scene!), and the overall story progressed quite nicely. i felt so smart when I guessed one of the culprits (there were like 5 throughout the drama lol), and the chemistry between the leads was also great!

bottom line: narita ryo supremacy
